The Introvert's Odyssey

He stared at me with an intent. An intent I knew nothing of.

He smiled showing his pearly whites and then he said "Hey pretty, I happened to just be standing by and was momentarily stunned by your beauty." I looked at him with confusion on my face.

Something about his face made him look alluring and it's like his voice had some charm to it.

Nodding my head slowly trying to understand what he had just said yet what he said was ringing in my brain with more of a highlight on 'Hey pretty'.

Then once again he smiled and said "What's your name?, Damsel."

I stuttered then put some strand of hair at the back of my ear. Isn't it what I see on Disney. The girl tucks her hair at the back of her ear and the guy stares in awe at her beauty.

"Uh.. yeah my name is Hazel"
He smiled then said "What a pretty name for a pretty girl."
In my mind I was like such a cliche thing to say who the ****ing hell says those stuffs again. Buh you know love is blind. Waitt wait wait, did I just say love I had barely even known this guy and I'm talking about love.
Blushing I said "Thanks". Then he said "My name is Ivan. Ivan Norman to be exact. But you see there's something wrong with my phone."

Then my face slightly changed. Who am I kidding. Here I thought that the cute guy actually wants to hit on me. Ohh my pathetic self. I looked at him with a questioning look on my face "Nice name. What's wrong with your phone?"

His face changed and then there was a smile on his face "It doesn't have your number in it".

I started blushing wildly. He gave me his phone signifying that I should put my number. Guys don't judge me he is alluring, attractive and you know the heart's gotta do what the heart's gotta do.

I smiled and gave him my number slightly hesitating. Keyword being slightly. Then he stood up and said "Bye" with a small smile on his face.

Weird had be just come here to ask for my number. After a while I realized that Adrian and Ethan were yet to come back.

I stood up to look for them and after about 5 minutes I saw that Adrian's leg was under a street tap. I jogged over to their side and when they noticed my prescence Ethan started laughing and Adrian frowned from embarrassment.

I asked Ethan what happened and then he looked at Adrian and burst into laughter "We saw the cotton candy man but we were far away from him and then Adrian suggested we run over and see who will be the fastest. We were running and I was faster than him and then he wanted to use a shortcut and then he ended up stepping on dog's poop."

After listening to what Ethan said I started laughing. After a while we cleared the dog poop from his shoes but it was all wet and he was very uncomfortable. Then he suggested that we go home but that didn't stop me and Ethan from laughing our butts off.
