CHAPTER 23

KENMA'S POV

We are currently discussing about what happen to them last night and that why did they think that she did that. But I explained to them that Yanna didn't did that. And I think I know why and who told them.

"Guys! Listen, I have something to tell you." -Lissana. She came with a big smile on her mouth. Tss creepy.

But before she say anything,I stop her and coldly asked, "Hey, why did you tell them that Yanna forced me not to come to your celebration last night?".

She just smiled and went to Kuroo's side. "It doesn't matter Kenma. Its already done. In fact, we are the one who should be upset because you didn't come." She look at everyone waiting for them to agree. "Right guys?".

This is what I hate. She will always have their side. How about Yanna? The time she spent with them is shorter than Lissana did. Of course they will choose to believe this girl.

"Is that true Liss? Why did you lie?" asked by Kuroo. "You said Yanna forced Kenma not to go so he went to me and told me that he will take care of her." The other member is waiting for her answer.

But she didn't lose her calm face as if she will get away with this. "C'mmon guys, when Kenma went to Kuroo, I talked to that girl and I must say that she's not really nice."

Everyone is shocked by what she said. What the hell she's lying again and will make up stories to ruin Yanna's life. I will not allow this.

But before I can defend her, they start asking her question about it.

"What? She's nice to us, why would you say that?" - Yaku.

"I can sense it. Be careful of that girl guys. Especially you Kuroo, you're my cousin so I won't let other people do bad to you and for the team too hehe." she said and hug his arm.

"Aw my sweet little cousin! Thank you but don't worry Yanna is kind. You just don't know her yet." - Kuroo.

"You guys don't know her yet too. Don't worry, if she's up to something I am the first who will know that." - Liss.

"Wow really Lissana? Thank you. You're so kind to us always I'm gonna cry." - Tora.

'"Thank you Lissana, I didn't know you cared for us a lot." - Yaku.

Of course, because you will set her up too just like you did before. But sorry you can't do that now. Whatever you tell them I will always defend her. "You don't have the right to accuse Yanna that she will do something." I started. "She's harmless, not like the others that setting people up to look kind." Then I looked straight at her to warn her that I know what she did and I can tell them now.

"You sound like you know someone that bad Kenma, what do you mean?" - Kuroo.

Lissana look scared when I am about to talk but she interfered. "Okay! You're defending her too much Kenma. Don't run to us if you get hurt because of her hahaha!".

"That's not gonna happen."

"Yeah Yacchan is very kind. She's like a sister to me and I will protect her too from the people who will do bad things to her." We looked at Levv who has a serious face.

"Woah this is the first time I saw you get serious Lev."- Yaku.

"HAHA okay okay stop! This is enough. Let's get back to practice, we have a match later so focus. Let's talk about this some other time. Let's go!" - Kuroo said and we all get ready for practice. Yeah we need to focus. We need to win. I need to get this game over to focus on Yanna.

The practice last only thirty minutes just like warm up then we all packed and ready to go in our second official game. We're on the bus. I am sitting in the back with Lev. He's unusually quite now.

"Hey Kenma-san, I really care for Yanna so much and I don't believe what Lissana-san said earlier. That's not true right?" - he asked looking so worried. Come to think of it, Lev is just a first year so he don't know Liss and doesn't have a bond with her.

"Of course. I thought you would think that Liss is right just like the other member." I said.

"I asked Yaku-san about Lissana back then, he told me that she's like a sister to all of you. He also said that she got a fight to your former manager and get hospitalized because of that. So eversince that day, Yaku said that all of you agreed to protect and always believe in her. When Lissana told us last night that Yacchan forced and beg you not to come, I didn't believe her and about to defend Yacchan but everyone just nod and happily celebrated with the girl team. I got quite all night and felt out of place so I go home early 'cause Yacchan is not there."

"I see. Do you really care about Yanna?"

"That's what I just said Kenma-san!" - Lev.

"Do you care about volleyball and your teammates?"

"Yes. Why would you ask that?"- Lev

"Between Yanna and the team, who will you care the most?"

I thought he would hesitate to answer but he did right away. "I love Yacchan. She's my bestfriend, my sister and .. wait why are you asking me that Kenma-san?"

"Lev, I'm glad to hear that you really cared for Yanna. Don't ever tell anyone about this conversation between us."

"Eh? Why?"

"I will tell you later after our game. I need to protect Yanna."

"From what?"

"I will tell you later. Just focus on the game okay? If lose then I won't tell you."

"Okay I'll do my best Kenma-san!" he shouted. The rest of the team looked at us and asked what were we talking about.

I answered "I just motivating him to win so I can set for him."

"That's right hehe!"- Lev

"Okay! Let's go! We're here." Kuroo shouted.

"YEEEEES!" everyone repplied.

We got off the bus and went inside the gymnasium were our game will played. Our opponent is not a powerhouse school so I am confident that we will win.

Can't wait to finish this and go home where Yanna's waiting...
