many people in lax airport were shocked this morning when a group of paparazzi began rushing across the people-movers and started taking photos. though, the people they were capturing were less than thrilled to be welcomed by cameras (see above).

netflix star clementine stone and 5sos frontman luke hemmings were sighted outside the airport earlier in the day. later on, they headed to a boarding gate to welcome co-star and girlfriend joey katz back home.

the star had been filming out of the country for some time, detailed in her instagram. at one point, she met with hemmings during his band's european tour.

the trio seemed to be hiding joey, and at one point there was some explicit language exchanged between clementine and a cameraman. there is no way of telling why they reacted this way.

joey sat herself on her couch for the first time in ages. the material felt so soft against her hands and arms. she sunk into it a little as she watched luke get comfy in the armchair. this had been the couch they had gotten so close together on. the memory of it made her blush, looking down at the floor. luke had promised to stay as long as she wanted him to, and joey hoped that meant what she hoped it did. she wanted to start now, but she could hear clem in the kitchen, organising some surprise for her.

joey checked the clock on the wall. that was when she realised something was wrong. she squinted and strained as hard as she could just she couldn't make out what it read.

"luke," she spoke weakly, "what's the time?"

luke turned his head and smiled, looking down at his watch. "five-thirty. why, what's up?"

joey groaned in response, squeezing her eyes shut and lifting her head upwards. a pain shot up her neck, though it was dull and mostly inconvenient. "nothing. i'll be fine."

"joe, if you aren't well we can leave-"

"stay. please." she attempted to open her eyes, the ceiling lights burning like acid. "i'm too tired to be alone."

"joe." clem called from behind her. "go to bed."

before she could say no or complain she felt a warm arm stretch across her back and another swoop under her legs. she was hoisted into the air, hearing luke's soft giggle close to her ears. she knew the movements to get into her bedroom. and the exact feeling of the comforter that she was being laid down on. joey gathered the strength to pry her eyes open, looking about. luke was closing the curtains and swung the door to leave a slithering of light. he stood at the foot of the bed as he smiled at her.

"lay down. here." she patted the bed beside her, feeling the mattress lower and a warm arm wrapping around her waist. he got closer, holding her like a teddy bear.

"comfy?" he whispered softly. she made a soft noise, but it felt like an understatement. she had melted into his touch so deeply. it felt as if she couldn't move, like all her muscles were entirely useless. she hadn't realised she had been that tired because of how used she had become to being at work all the time. luke's hand had found itself at the bottom of her neck and spun ringlets in the hairs. he had pulled himself closer to her, letting her back tuck in to his hips.

"shh, relax. you can rest now."

and that joey had. her mind had entered the pre-stage of sleep where everything felt so cozy. the pain at the side of her head had become a thing of the past. she couldn't focus on how it felt, all she could do was let the drowsiness overcome her...
