𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟬𝟯𝟱 :: it girl
"what do you think?" joey spun around in the dress. the silver pressed against her chest was tight and she could barely take a step.
"well, it looks nice," luke had collapsed into the low couch in the foyer. she had dragged him along to find outfits for the press tour she would have to be a part of. "but you're making a face."
"what do you mean?"
"you don't like it. you don't have to wear it, you know?"
joey sighed, as deeply as the dress allowed. "i don't usually get big designers letting me try their dresses. i feel bad if i say i don't like it."
"but you have to! there's gotta be another dress that you actually like." luke rose from his seat, rattling the coat hangers on the rack. "how about this?"
"oh my-" she took a tiny step back. "i need that for the premiere - it's gorgeous!"
luke's lips curled a little, offering the dress and the empty hanger for the dress she had on. she heard his giggle as she moved as fast as she could to the changing room. it must've looked like an awkward waddle to him.
when she emerged a few minutes later wearing the dress, luke's jaw nearly fell off its hinges. his pupils had widened as he admired her. "you are gonna look so good out there."
