Especially 'In another universe', oh how you wished to be in that universe, where it was peaceful and your favorite character was there; Jake.
You took off your reading glasses and closed the book.
You buried yourself with a blanket and shut your eyes.

"Y/N! Over here!" Someone called you, you turned around to see Jake with a wide smile and held a bouquet of flowers.
You fixed your gaze and stared at him. He's real? How does he know my name?
"Jake? You know me?" You walked closer to him as he snicker, "Of course I know you, you're my girlfriend."
"You like tulips, right?" He handed you the bouquet of tulips. He was as warm-hearted as he is in the book.
You smiled to yourself and gulfed Jake with a big hug.
He laughed airily and hugged you back tightly.
but how can this happen?
You broke the hug and looked deeply in his eyes. "Jake, tell me, is this a dream?"
He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, "What are you talking about, love? I'm real. You can feel me, we just hugged earlier."
"But you're a fictional character from the book In another universe? How could this happen?"
"Am I... perhaps hallucinating or dreaming?"
"What? Of course not, I'm real, love. Look," He grabbed your hand and made you touch his cheek, "You can feel me, right?"
"None of this is a dream babu."
You finally gained composure and smiled widely, "Jake..."
"Yes?"
"I've never felt happier than before! I love you so so much!" You said happily.
"I love you too, y/n."
but you need to accept the fact that i'm not him...
You both held each other's hands tightly, afraid to get separated. Jake constantly glanced at you in a worried manner.
"Why are you looking at me like that, what's wrong?" You asked, completely clueless.
"Y/N, I need you to wake up. What if I'm not Jake?"
"What are you talking about? You told me that you're real?"
"Of course, I am real but.." He sighed, "Actually nevermind."
You really love Jake to the point where you see Jake in me.
"Jake, you up for ramen?" You eyed him, "Anything is good."
"But Y/N, I have a question."
"hm?"
"What if you're just hallucinating and I've been pretending to be Jake to not hurt your feelings? What would you do?"
"Impossible. You even told me you're real. You are real, Jake."
"Jake is just a fictional character, Y/N. Wake up."
You stopped on your tracks and crossed your arms, scoffing. "What's up with you? Weren't we just all happy earlier? Why do you have to ruin things?"
"I'm not-"
"You know what, forget it, let's eat lunch before we go home." You started walking away from him.
You felt your phone ring from your pocket.
It was your mother calling you.
"how's your date with jungwon, dear?"
"jungwon? who's jungwon?"
"jungwon is your boyfriend.."
"what do you mean? my boyfriend is jake."
Your mother sighed.
"have you not take your pills before you went out? Jake is a fictional character, dear. Jungwon is your real boyfriend."
"jungwon? but he told me he's jake?! No mom, this cannot be true!"
"he had to pretend he's Jake for you, you are always... hallucinating, mistaking him as Jake."
You quickly hang up the phone and you saw Jungwon coming towards you.
"Love, do you want to drink soda?"
"You're Jungwon?" You said, quietly. You could see that he was surprised, "You finally realized?"
"I'm sorry you have to-"
"It's okay, Y/N. I'm okay as long as you're happy."
"Why would you have to pretend that you're Jake?"
"I've told you so many times that I'm not him but it seems that you really see me as him." He was hurt but he loves you so he had to do it.
He took out pills from his pocket, "Your mother told me you have to take this two times in a day."
You looked at it. "I must be insane.. Am I?"
You received no reply. "Am I?!"
"Calm down, baby. Let's go have ramen, hm?"
You took the pills from his hand and shoved it inside your bag.
"Fine." You were walking faster, not even minding the surroundings.
Suddenly, you bumped into a muscular man who have blonde hair.

"Jake?"
"I'm sorry?"
"Love!" Jungwon called out, grabbing you by the shoulders, he seemed to be confused too. "You're real?" Jungwon questioned. "Aren't you.. fictional?"
"What do you mean fictional? I'm real. What are you guys talking-"
"Jake Sim." You took a step forward.
He clicked his tongue.
"You must be mistaken, I am not fictional!"
"What? Look, I even have the book with me, you're here." You took the book out and showed it to him.
After reading a few pages, his eyes was widened.
"What the fuck? Why is my every move here in the book?"
Jungwon and You both shared looks.
"I suppose your name is Y/N and... Jungwon?" He looked at you two.
You nodded.
"Your names are here too."
"What the hell are you talking about, Sim." Jungwon aggressively grabbed the book from Jake.
"The real question is; are we even real?"
