"What if he's changed his mind Shuri?" Leonora frets.

She feels more adrenaline shoot through her than she'd ever felt on any mission before.

She couldn't shoot, fight, or lie her way out of this one however.

Shuri, Ramona and Pepper flit around her, doing the final touches to her hair and make up as she tries to take slow deep breaths.

"He won't, he is crazy about you!" She gushes, adjusting the veil on her head.

The ladies talk excitedly, but Leonora can't hear it. Not until she's at the end of the aisle, with Steve's hand in hers and their vows have been spoken.

She knows they are soulmates, she doesn't doubt their love for a split second, but she will always feel as if she's not good enough for Steve.

She'd done so many evil things in her life, she'd nearly killed him for God's sake, but here they were on their wedding day.

She couldn't wait to be his wife. God she never thought she'd say or think those words.

Fuck you Medusa. You didn't take everything away from me after all.

Morgan skips around in front of Leonora happily, practicing her petal throws with imaginary flowers.

Leonora grins, stroking her hair and concentrating on the small girl who was so full of life in front of her.

She wanted to keep it traditional for Steve, despite the fact that weddings and tradition were never a thing for her.

So she had a beautiful white, off the shoulder gown made for her, with a floral corset and a flowy waist. She had drop sleeves made of chiffon that hung around her elbows and she had red flowers in her bouquet to match Steve's groomsmen's.

She hadn't had much to do with the actual planning of the ceremony. The King's mother and the Princess had taken over, and Leonora was eternally grateful. She didn't have the right kind of patience for it all.

All she knew was she'd asked to be married on the beach, and there would be traditional Wakandan celebrations afterwards, with tribal dancers, a huge feast and all of their loved ones.

She had just asked that traditional white wedding decor be mixed in to placate Steve, as he was old school. Though he wouldn't mind really.
