After dropping you at your house, Taehyung went to his house and was welcomed by his mother with arms crossed on her chest and with an angry pout on her face.

"What took you so long son?" She asks tapping her foot on the shiny floor.

"Mom, I was with Y/n." He says lazily removing his shoes. Wearing his sleepers he walked inside the house.

"But what took you so long today? Did anything happen?" His mother asked being worried for you. His parents are already aware of Taehyung's feelings for you.

"She cried." He said and sighed. Entering inside his house, he sat down on the couch. His mother looked at him with a soft gaze. She sat down beside him and rubbed his back.

"Suzy keeps on bullying her. Today she made Y/n insecure. She never cried like that before. I can't even imagine how much it must've hurt her Eomma." His voice was laced with regret as he wasn't able to take away your pain.

"We might not understand or feel the way she feels but we can be there for her. It's not easy for her to survive in this cruel world but with our love, care and support we can make her create her own small happy world. Remember, what your father advised you the other day?" She says with a warm smile spread on her lips. Taehyung nodded remembering his father's words.

Flashback

As Kim family joined each other for dinner, there was a silent atmosphere lingering in the room. None of them were talking as they sensed that there was something running in Taehyung's mind.

"Taehyung, you wanted to talk about something?" His father asked breaking the silence. Taehyung sighed and looked at his parents.

"Appa, Eomma, you both know how much I love Y/n right?" He asks making them furrow their brows and glance at each other.

"Yeah but why do you ask?" His father asked.

"It's because I want your permission and support for my one decision." He says.

"What decision?" His mother asks.

"I want to marry Y/n." Taehyung says making his parent's eyes go wide.

"What? What are you talking about Taehyung?" His mother asks stunned.

"Taehyung, it's barely been a few months since you started liking her. Are you sure you want to marry her?" His father asks.

"Appa, I don't like her. I love her. I love Y/n with my whole heart. I know it's been just a few months but what I feel for her is something that I never felt for someone. Not even for Suzy, appa. All I know is that I'm just so sure of spending the rest of my life with Y/n. It feels right to love her and dream about my whole life with her." Taehyung tried his best to put his feelings into words. His parent's eyes softened and hearts melted hearing his words.
