The door of the house opened and a big smile appeared on his face as soon as his eyes fell on the small creature that was crawling on knees towards his direction.

With a boxy smile plastered on his face, he closed the door of the apartment and kneeled down keeping his beg aside. He opened his arms wide and the little creature hastily crawled giggling with excitement and soon Taehyung held the little bean in his arms.

"Did you miss me, baby?" Taehyung asked caressing his baby's cheek lovingly. The baby giggled in response hiding in the crook of her father's neck. Taehyung chuckled and hugged his daughter peaking her soft cheeks. He got up with her in his arms.

Walking inside the apartment he saw his dear wife in the kitchen preparing dinner. You were back facing him so you weren't aware of his arrival in the house.

Before Taehyung arrived, your and Taehyung's daughter, Taehee was playing with toys in the living room. She's well aware of her father's arrival time in the evening which is why when she saw Taehyung at the doorstep she immediately crawled to her father to get in his warmth. It became her daily routine.

Whereas Taehyung no matter how tired he gets after work seeing his daughter's face all his tiredness disappears in thin air.

Taehyung closed his eyes enjoying the delicious aroma of food that you prepared and that's when you turned around and saw Taehyung standing with Taehee.

"Oh, you're here. When did you come?" You asked and Taehyung opened his eyes.

"Just a while ago. Well, I'm so disappointed." He said and pouted. You tilted your head confused.

"You were so engrossed in cooking that you didn't even notice when I got back home. Not fair. Right, Taehee?" Taehyung said and Taehee being his father's good daughter clapped her hands while jumping in his arms.

"I actually overslept in the evening so I started preparing dinner late. That's why I lost track of time and didn't know when you got back home." You said awkwardly smiling at him.

"It's okay. You need rest too so it's good that you overslept." Taehyung said with a smile on his face. You know your husband is understanding and never judge you for anything.

"Taehee baby, appa needs to get fresh now and then we will have dinner together. Okay?" Taehyung said and put Taehee down who later went to her toys to play with them. Taehyung walked towards you.

You smiled at him and he returned back and took you in his embrace.

"I missed you." Taehyung said swaying you left and right in his arms.

"I missed you too." You said and pulled away from the hug. You cupped his cheeks and peaked his lips which formed a big smile on his face.

"Take a relaxing shower, okay?" You said and he nodded like an obeying baby. You chuckled and peacking your forehead he left the kitchen whereas you returned to continue your cooking.

2 years ago, the day when you visited his parent's house, you both never talked about it knowing it will hurt Taehyung.

Like his father wanted Taehyung to hand over the Kim enterprises to his father. Taehyung had some of his savings and you sold your apartment which helped you two to survive and buy a decent apartment to live in. Though you both were in contact with his mother, who too supported you both and visited once in a while.
