My Brother-in-law | Part - 2 | KTH

"Let y/n marry Taehyung."

Your heart stopped beating hearing Mr.Kim's words. You felt like someone just snatched your entire world. Your parents had unreadable expressions too. Hoseok and Jimin were shocked.

"Before you deny, remember it was your y/n who we wanted as our daughter-in-law from the beginning but because of your request we agreed to let Sana marry our son." Your breath stuck in your throat fetching new information. Taehyung looked at his father in disbelief.

"Appa, what are you doing?" Taehyung said with disbelief lacing in his voice.

Ofcourse, it was Taehyung who called your parents, his parents and Jimin. He called them early in the morning about what he saw yesterday leading him to make the decision of divorce.

"Let them compensate, Taehyung." Before Taehyung can utter a word Mr.Kim stopped him showing him his palm. Mrs.Kim rubbed the back of her son and gave him an assuring smile.

"Fine! Y/n will marry Taehyung tomorrow." Your father announced causing your tears to finally stream down your eyes. Jimin looked at you with worry in his eyes.

The next day...

Later that day, you were taken by your parents. You didn't had any courage to go against this marriage knowing the anger building inside your parent's veins especially your father. It was all because of Sana. You didn't want to add fuel into fire so you remained silent and went with them.

You cried whole night cursing at your fate. Your parents are sweethearts towards you but because of your sister they are putting you in a situation you never wanted to be. Now you realised why your parents were strict with Sana. She was not in good terms with them but you. She treated you like her own child.

Here now you're walking down the asile with arm locked with your father's. Tears were glistening in your eyes but you were holding them back.

As you reached the stage, Taehyung helped you climb up holding your hand.

"Take care of my precious daughter, Taehyung." Your father said. You gulped down the lump of throat.

"I will, dad." Taehyung said passing him a small smile.

The priest started the ceremony and both of you took the vows. It was the time for the groom to kiss his bride. You bite your lips to suppress your tears.

Taehyung gently caressed your hand to comfort you. He walked closer to you. His right hand was holding your left one and his other hand cupped your cheek.

Soon, you felt his lips touching your forehead causing tears to escape your eyes. As he felt your tear, he gently wiped it off looking at your eyes that were stuck on the ground.

Everyone present in the hall cheered for the newly weds. Your mother came to you and embraced you in a hug.

"I'm sorry, my child but Taehyung is a good guy. Give him a chance." She said rubbing your back. You felt like breaking down but you held back yourself.

Your father too hugged you lovingly. Jimin approached you and embraced you in a comforting hug.

"Everything will be fine, y/n. Don't worry." Jimin whispered in your ear. You weren't in a state to respond anything.

As you both were done greeting the guests and your in-laws, you both headed to your new house. Taehyung was driving the car whereas you were shading silent tears looking outside the window.

But you weren't aware that your tears were hurting someone and that's none other than Taehyung. He kept on stealing glances at you but the more he see your tears, the more his heart his breaking.

I'm sorry, y/n-ah. I'm really sorry. He kept on apologising you in his thoughts as he isn't able to muster up any courage to even open his mouth. He can't even despise the situation you both are in.

I don't know where our lives will lead us from today but I promise to be a good husband and a life partner you can rely on. I promise you that, y/n.

Soon you both reached at the new house that was bought by his parents. Taehyung couldn't go against his parent's wish.

Taehyung parked the car at the driveway. He turned his gaze at you only to find you staring at the front. His heart felt a pang seeing your dry tears. He sighed and got off the car.

Walking towards your side, he opened the door.

"Y/n.." His voice that came out soft reached till your ears.

You averted your gaze at him and found him standing. Looking around you saw house in front of you. You clutched your dress and unbuckled your seatbelt.

Taehyung gave you space to get down the car. You got down the car unnoticing his hand on the door frame. You stared at the house with sadness in glistening in your eyes.

"L..let's go inside." Taehyung shuttered gesturing you to walk inside the house. You didn't even glance at him and started walking. He followed you and both of you entered the house.

The whole house was filled with silence. You felt like crying again but you feel like you're used to of holding back your tears. You were back facing Taehyung so he wasn't able to see your face but he could sense your eyes filled with tears.

You turned around to face him. Taehyung felt his breath getting stuck in his throat. He didn't even saw you properly when you were walking down the asile.

How can someone look breathtaking even when there's a storm running inside their heart. That's what he thought.

"Can I request you something?" You asked in a low voice which came out rough due to crying. Taehyung nod his head in anticipation.

"I want to live alone for sometime." You said which was quick enough for Taehyung to catch on. Ofcourse, Taehyung knew that you won't share room with him. He knows you won't ever accept him as your husband.

He bite on his lip before nodding his head understanding.

"You can have the room that's on the left side upstairs." You noticed the change in his tone. It was different from which it was from last few months.

"Before you go, I want to apologize for getting you dragged into this mess. I'm sorry and I promise, I won't cross any line." He said straight away not wanting to make you uncomfortable in any way. However his tone was soft like the one he use to have before he got married to your sister.

"It wasn't your fault nor I'm blaming you for anything." That's all you said and turned your heels to head in your room. Taehyung just gazed at your disappearing figure.
