Lady Gisela nodded approvingly. "Adequate for shopping," she decided.

"Are all you elves this fancy?" Ana asked, giggling. "Also, why are you called elves?"

"Yes, all elves are this fancy. As for why we are called elves, I have no idea," Gisela admitted. "Perhaps the same reason you humans are called humans?"

"I'm not human." Ana disagreed.

Lady Gisela shrugged. "Suit yourself." She grabbed Ana's wrist again and dragged her to the edge of the rock. "Jump," she ordered, pointing to the whirlpool.

"You go first," Ana said.

"Fine." Lady Gisela jumped, pulling Ana down too, before she had time to run. They arrived in the middle of a bustling town.

"Wow!" Ana said, amazed. She wasn't even wet! Like Lady Gisela said, everyone looked so fancy. They passed three girls wearing short knee-length dresses and combat boots. One of them had rich brown skin, and dreadlocks with several blue streaks. The second girl had honey-bonde hair, intense blue eyes, and lots of jewelry. The third had thick black hair, pale skin, and a fierce expression.

"Guys, I heard that Sophie's going to be a Regent now!" The second girl with a teal dress and honey-blonde hair whispered to her friends.

Lady Gisela pulled Ana past them quickly, ducking her head.

"Who are they?" Ana asked. "They mentioned the Sophie person you were talking about."

Gisela sighed. "Okay, Ana. Here's your explanation: I want to give my son, Keefe, more power, so he can help me overthrow the Council-"

"Who's the Council? And why do you want to overthrow them?" Ana interrupted.

"Because their ways are old and unjust. Now, as I was saying, I need Keefe on my side, and I need to give him more power. The Neverseen are in the process of treaty negotiations with King Enki of Loamnore."

"What's Loamnore?"

"Loamnore is the realm of the Dwarves. Anyway, once we secure an alliance with King Enki, I will use his resources to empower my son, and neutralize Sophie Foster. The rest can wait," Lady Gisela emphasized as she entered a dress shop.

"Ooh, fancy!" Ana snapped her fingers, manipulating the mist, and she was suddenly covered in pink ruffles.

"Ah.. Ana? Not the place." Lady Gisela grabbed several dresses rushed Ana to a fitting room and slammed the door.

"Why don't you want to be seen?" Ana asked.

"I am wanted by the Council. Not everyone disagrees with their ruling, and some will gladly capture and torture me. Here, put this on." Lady Gisela shoved a dress on Ana.

"This should fit," she muttered. Grabbing Ana's hand, she marched out of the fitting room, grabbed a few more dresses, leggings, and tunics.

Lady Gisela speed-walked up to a desk, where she took a tablet and entered her information and purchases.

"Alright, we're done here." Gisela grabbed Ana's wrist again. They walked outside, and Gisela froze. Ana followed her line of sight and saw a girl with unruly blonde hair just like Ana's, and brown eyes. Her tunic said 'Happy Shadow Thoughts'. Ana's disguise burned away. Lady Gisela threw up her hood and dragged Ana across the square towards a fountain. Gisela jumped, levitating up, up, up, and dragging Ana along.

"How do you levitate? I want to levitate!" Ana squealed in typical nine-year-old fashion as they rose out of the whirlpool and back on the rock, where Lady Gisela raised her pathfinder to the light, her iron grip returning on Ana's wrist as they glittered away.

A/N should I do a Sophie POV or someone else POV other than Ana?
