🎵 sondia - first love

The moon replaced by the sun, the dark turns into light, the night turns into morning. Sunlight split the gray sky letting the blue sky take over. It shine through the window of the room where Jeonghan was sleeping, along with the sound of birds chirping which is unusual to hear nowadays.

His closed eyes twitched as the light landed right on his face. He reached for the pillow to block the light, then he pulled the covers back into a deep sleep on the soft surface for five minutes.

Until he came to his full senses with his eyes suddenly opened wide. He remembered clearly last night he was not lying on any bedding. It took him a few more seconds to realize that the place he was sleeping right now was where you were last night.

Once he rose quickly to a sitting position, he thought he was still dreaming. His chest tightened as he almost forgot how to breath. A sharp pain when he pinched his own cheek confirmed that he was already fully awake. Because of that, his eyes became glossier after each blink.

You, sitting in the wheelchair, looking out the window with your hair dancing softly alongside the soft breeze that enter through the window gap. Your eyelashes brush against your pale skin when you blink, your hands that are no longer lying stiff are now able to pull the blanket that hugs your shoulders.

When your eyes finally met his, that's when he lost control and rushed out of bed to approach you. In between his clumsy steps, he even slipped over the blanket that got dragged onto the floor.

"Good morning." You smiled, still unable to turn your head fully to him because of the cast on your neck.

"Say that again...?" Jeonghan asked. Your voice almost sounded foreign to him. It turns out he misses it a lot more than he thought.

"Good..morning?" You repeated, kind of confused with his odd request.

"Fuck-- I mean, fuck." Jeonghan didn't know what to do or what to say. He lost strength in his knees and slowly fell to his knees in front of you.

"Wha-- Are you okay? Are you hurt?" You blinked several times in one second, "Should I call the nurse? Or a doctor?"

"Oh, shut up." Jeonghan sighed with a relieved smile, he buried his forehead in your lap, "No, don't. Keep talking. It's been way too quiet."

Surprised by his action, you decided not to push him or question him. Honestly, when you woke up earlier you were glad he was the first person you saw. The fact that he keep his promise makes you want to stroke his blonde hair at that very moment.

"Uh.. What should I talk about?" You clenched your hand and pull it away, resisting the urge, "I don't even know what year I'm in right now. How long have I been sleeping? Can cars fly now?"

Jeonghan closed his eyes and chuckled lightly. He enjoy your full-length blabber. He then changed his position to rest his cheek on your left knee, being extra careful not wanting to touch the cast on your right leg.

"How did I end up in bed though? Are you faking your injury right now?" He asked. Obviously you aren't. But how he wished you were, that way you'll no longer be in pain.

"I moved you there with only one hand." You proudly pat your own shoulder, "I'm that strong."

Jeonghan suddenly felt a desire in his chest to look at you--so he did. The lectures as well as Seungcheol's slap he got the previous day seemed to have torn down his entire ego wall, which is why he no longer feels the prestige of indulging his desires.

He carefully listened to your explanation about how you asked to be transferred to a wheelchair because you felt sore for lying too long. Also how you asked the nurses to move him to the bed to rest.
