"Y/N..?" Jeonghan's voice lingers in your head. He used to call you like that million of times back then, however his voice sounds more mature now.

"Wrong person, sorry." You quickly answered, letting your hair fall down almost covering your whole face.

Jeonghan didn't move, he tilt his head trying to peek right through your hair. He still got the same warm gaze you used to adore so much.

"I must be wrong. Sorry." He finally said, withdrawing his eyes from you. "You look a lot like someone I knew."

"Sure, no problem." You turned your heels only to find Choi PD making his way to you.

For the past twenty seven years of your life you're sure the current prayer you're doing is the most powerful one--praying that Choi PD won't mention your name right in front of Jeonghan--who's still standing on the same spot--right behind you.

"There you are!" Choi PD called out. "Yoon Jeonghan!"

"Oh, PD-nim, I was getting a coffee." Jeonghan replied, accepting Choi PD's invitation to walk back together to the set.

You decided to keep walking slowly as if nothing happened--as if nothing will happen. Pretending to be busy, flipping through the pages you've read multiple times earlier.

As their footsteps slowly fade away, you heave a sigh of relief. The crew worked so hard that they had completed most of the preparations. Car engines and mini buses are on, ready to leave at any time.

Of course since you are new you don't know where to go. Your flustered attitude attracts the attention of some people who look different from others--by the way they dressed clearly they're not a regular crew. You avoided any eye contact with them but still two of them still come to you anyway.

"Excuse me?" One of them greeted politely. You can tell their perfume are expensive, they smell so good.

"Who are you? You look confused." The other one with broad shoulder asked directly.

"Mingyu, that's too cold."

"Do I sound cold?" The guy called Mingyu asked you with a face of confusion. "Sorry, didn't mean it that way."

"No it's okay. Please don't feel sorry." You quickly added.

"I'm Dokyeom. Are you looking for anyone?" Dokyeom offered his hand for a handshake.

You took his hand with a big smile, now you remember you've seen his face before. He's the member of Seventeen group--together with Mingyu.

"Yes, this is my first day and I'm supposed to stick around Choi PD-nim but he's kind of busy right now."

"Oh we've heard about the new recruit after Kang PD got into an accident." Dokyeom added. "That must be you."

"That's thick as fuck, did he ask you to read that?" Mingyu pointed out at the papers in your hand with a scrunched up face.

"He did, yes. I'm already halfway through though." You insert a hint of proudness in your tone.

"Honestly you can ask us to play mafia game for all episodes and they'll still love it." Mingyu added again.

"Yes but they always suspect you." Dokyeom laughed a little.

"It's okay I can always kill Hoshi first and then I'm good to go."

They both burst out laughing, even pushing each other's shoulder.

"Oh by the way, you are?" Asked Dokyeom.

"I'm Y/N." You properly introduced yourself to both of them.

Well you thought there are only the two of them when you mentioned your name. Apparently not.

"So I didn't get the wrong person earlier." Said the familiar voice right behind you.

You pressed your lips together--forcing a wide smile--not wanting Dokyeom and Mingyu to sense something between you and Jeonghan. So you try to act professional by turning around and greet Jeonghan--who's standing with both of his hands inside his hoodie's pocket.

"We meet again, Y/N." Jeonghan added.

"Oh you've met Y/N before?" Mingyu's curiosity strikes.

"Yes." You added before Jeonghan could say anything. "We met at the coffee truck earlier."

"There's a coffee truck? No one told me?" Dokyeom's face look offended yet funny at the same time. "Mingyu let's get some coffee before we depart."

"Call." Mingyu agreed.

They gave you another warm welcome before leaving you and Jeonghan alone.

Only two scenarios of how to get out of current awkward situation pop in your head. Whether it's being abducted by aliens, or quitting your job before spending weeks or even months with your ex. Unfortunately you want neither, which means you have to suck up with the situation for now.

Jeonghan didn't show any interest in leaving anytime soon, so you thought about taking the initiative to leave. But he knows you too well.

"How long have we not seen each other? Five years? Seven?" He asked right when you were about to leave, trapping you in another conversation.

"I don't count but I wish it was longer."

You know your answer was not pleasant--probably hurtful--to Jeonghan. The way he nod his head while pressing his lips together still the same, he always does that when he's not feeling good. But compared to how your relationship ended back then, you couldn't care less.

"That's kind of cruel." Jeonghan shrugged.

"I am." You shrugged back at him.

For a moment the two of you looked into each other's eyes. It's hard for you but you refuse to back down. Even though the old familiar unpleasant feeling creeps into your feelings again after observing his facial features which you user to touch, love and even kisses.

"I'm glad to see you're doing well though." He smiled.

"Me too." You simply answered.

It wasn't long before Choi PD approached the two of you. Looks like everyone is ready to go. You're relieved to know Jeonghan will be in the same vehicle as his members--away from you and the PD team. At least a trip to the next location will give you enough space and time to process everything that just happened.

Letting Choi PD walk a few steps forward, you turned to look at Jeonghan one more time.

"I'm glad to see myself doing well too." you clarify.
