"Y/n..." Hailee breathes out, eyes wide, shocked. Tears slipping swiftly down her cheeks. She stands up and looks towards the door, shouting "Help! Doctor! She's awake!"

Hailee turns her attention swiftly back to Y/n who weakly squeezes Hailee's hand.

"Y/n? Baby can you hear me?" Hailee asks, frantically. Her hazel eyes focused on Y/n's. Y/n closes and opens their eyes several times. A small smile inching on her lips as she slowly nods at Hailee's question. A doctor and a nurse come rushing in. The nurse gently grabs Hailee and moves her towards the door to give some room, space. The girl wraps her arms around herself. Her hazel eyes focusing on nothing but Y/n as the doctor examines everything and then looks at the nurse nodding.

They take out the tubes and make sure everything's in check. When they finish they exit the room. The doctor whispering to Hailee "This is a miracle. I'll contact her parents and her aunt. Go ahead and speak to her."

Hailee smile slightly. The tears in her eyes blurring her vision. They weren't sad tears. The tears that hurt or sting rather tears of happiness.

She sinks her teeth into her bottom lip and walks over to where Y/n lay sitting up slightly. Their eyes meeting Hailee's teary hazel ones.

"I've been out a while haven't I?" Y/n asks, her voice hoarse. Hailee nods and sits on the edge of the bed. Her hazel eyes flick back and forth between Y/n's. Her lips quivering as she shakes her head from side to side. "Hailee.."

Hailee reaches her hand up gently, cupping Y/n's cheek in her hand. Her thumb gently rubs back and forth on Y/n's delicate, soft skin. Her tears sliding faster down her cheeks but her lips curve upwards into a smile.

"You're okay," Hailee whispers. "You're okay."

"Why are you crying?" Y/n asks, their voice low, gentle. Her eyes scanning Hailee's before reaching up and gently, weakly wiping at the tears that slide down the girl's cheek. "I'm fine."

Hailee nods, clenching her jaw to try and stop the tears. She feels Y/n drop their hand before feeling Y/n's touch, feeling Y/n's fingers wrap around her wrist pulling her hand down off of the girl's cheek. And instead pulls her forward. Hailee gently falls forward placing her head on Y/n's chest. As soon as her head hits Y/n's chest, Y/n wraps her arms around the girl, holding her tightly, stroking her hair ever so gently.

Both of their eyes close. Both of them staying quiet as Hailee can hear Y/n's heart beats every so often. The girl's chest rising up and down in a sequence calming Hailee. But as much as it was calming to the singer it was calming to Y/n who feels Hailee's touch almost forgetting but not really remembering being asleep so long. For her it only felt like a night, not two months.

"How bad was it?" Y/n asks her voice low. Hailee's smile drops and shakes her head on the girl's chest.

"Bad. Can you move your legs?" Hailee asks, picking up her head and looking. Y/n lifts up their head and looks seeing how their one leg wouldn't move but the one does.
