"You did so good!" I inform Hailee in the car. "You're meant for the stage! One hundred percent."

"Stop!" She exclaims, placing her hand on my knee and pushing it. "Actually don't. Keep it coming." She giggles and I roll my eyes. I place my hand on her upper thigh and lean my head back against the seat. My eyes on her's as she raises a brow but softens her muscles and lays her back now. Both of our just admiring one another it seems.

"I cannot wait to marry you, Hailee," I whisper, flickering my eyes back and forth between her hazel ones.

"I cannot wait to marry you Y/n."

January 5th

My chest was pounding. My hand messing with the tie I have on. It's too tight and I want the damn thing off. People were here. The wedding was really happening. Hailee and I haven't seen each other for two nights. Something about it being bad luck to see one another before the wedding. I was so hesitant. I wanted to stay with her, but she was all about that tradition. I stayed at Aunt May's while Hailee stayed at my apartment. We've been looking for a house together. She wants a big yet small one. White picket fence dream honestly.

Today's the reception. I keep replaying everything we've talked about. All the happiness but god damn this tie is killing me.

"Y/n chill with the tie," J.J says walking in and over. My hand drops from my tie as her hands take over, adjusting it. She wore a beautiful long dark red dress. All the bridesmaids were wearing one. Or they were wearing dark red suits. My suit however was dark Christmas tree green. Hailee's dress is the same color but with sparkles from what she's told me. I haven't seen her yet. Haven't seen her in it. It's been killing me for months.

"You have to breath," J.J says placing her hand on my shoulder swiping at it, getting dust off maybe.

"This is stressful," I respond, shaking my head. "The moment we say I do, that's it. We're bonded together. She wants all these things and I want them too but this...All of this is so much."

"Yeah it is. That's how weddings are," J.J says fixing the pinecone pin on my suit jacket. "You and Hailee are meant for each other. It's a couple minutes in front of your friends and family saying vows and I do then kissing. It'll be fine."

I stay silent and look up to the ceiling as she drops her hands off of me.

"You did write your vows right?" J.J asks with wide eyes. I nod my head, looking at the girl.

"Yes I wrote my vows. They're in my pocket." I reach into my pocket and pull out the letters. J.J's eyes go wide. I put it back there, to make sure it's safe. My heart rapidly beating against my chest. I'm going to pass out.

Knocks appear at the door. Aunt May pops her head in. "You ready?" I look to my aunt. A smile on her face as her eyes lock with mine. I slowly nod and she makes her smile wider. "You're going to do great. Come on." She opens the door wider and I look away to J.J who nods.

"You do. Just think about Hailee and only Hailee. The girl you love. The girl you fell in love with. The girl who's going to be with you till death do you part."

I nod my head at her. She smiles and walks towards Aunt May. A low sigh escapes my lips as I turn too and head out behind the two of them.

Every inch of me shakes. The nerves welding and building up inside of me eating me alive. I sniff lightly as the two main doors to the evening event opens up. People were everywhere. I clench my jaw and force a small smile as I walk with Aunt May on my arm on the way down the alter.
