"Your hairs a bit of a mess there," a voice speaks from behind me. I toss away empty beer bottles and turn finding J.J with a knowing smirk dancing on her lips. "You and Hailee disappeared for a while. Care to explain or should I let my imagination play?"

I shake my head, not able to help the smile that grows on my own lips. My cheeks burning slightly. I knew they were growing red. I reach my hand up and run it through my hair a couple times before looking to J.J for approval. She laughs out loud and steps forward, taking a strand and tugging it out from my head.

"Ow!" I exclaim as she laughs and drops the piece onto the ground. She steps back and shrugs.

"It was bothering me," she says, crossing her arms over her chest.

"It was attacked to my scalp. You could've, I don't know, pushed it down or something," I state, keeping a playful expression. She shrugs again.

"It was more fun to yank it out." I laugh quietly and nod, looking at the ground as my body leans against the counter. My own arms crossing my arms. "I'm glad you're better. The great Y/n Brooks can start making music again."

"I've been making music," I say quietly. "But nobody really knew."

"Not even Hailee?" J.J's eyes raise and I shake my head. We were alone in the kitchen. Everyone was out in the living room mainly or dining room. "Sneaky sneaky."

"They weren't that good until I went back over them when I was feeling better. But there are songs," I say, looking at my best friend. She smiles lightly.

"When are we as fans getting these songs? Are we getting an album? A tour would be lovely! Hey you could open for the band you left."

A laugh escapes my throat and I toss my head back. J.J giggles and I shake my head. "Yeah, no. I'm not opening up for anybody unless it's like Taylor Swift or someone huge like that."

A playful offended look smears J.J's face causing me to laugh. She places her hand on her chest like she's having trouble breathing. Her jaw was dropped and she gasps.

"How dare you? You don't think the band is big? Shaking my head Brooks."

"Well to be fair, you guys are good just not as good as I know y'all can be."

"Oh that makes me feel better... I think."

I chuckle, pushing myself up from the counter. "I want to marry Hailee first. That's my main priority. Then I'll see what happens with the album, EP whatever."

"Oh an EP? Now that would be a power move. Give like 6 songs or so, give a little teaser of what's to come then drop an album. Then go on tour."

"Oh my god, what's with you wanting me to go on tour?" I laugh and J.J shrugs.

"I know you miss it. The drumming, being on a stage-" J.J pauses. "Though it's probably, well no it's going to be different. You won't have 3 other people up there with you. It'll be you, singing and dancing. You're the performer."

"I'll figure it out, if it comes to it."

"It will."

"What will?" Hailee asks as she enters into the kitchen. My eyes fly from J.J's to Hailee's hazel ones. Those perfect beautiful hazel ones. She keeps a small yet warm smile on her lips as her eyes flicker between J.J and me.

"Tour," J.J says wiggling her eyebrows. My eyes stay locked on Hailee though seeing her eyes go wide as her head flings in my direction.

"You want to go on tour?" She asks, shock in her voice but also a tiny bit of excitement. I shrug at the idea as J.J sighs loudly.
