"Alright. This looks so much better on you," Aunt May says fluffing up my hair slightly. She sets the scissors down. I look up from my lap, from my phone at Hailee's number to be met with J.J's eyes.

"She's right. Definitely your look. It'll look even better once we can get you walking so you can walk down the aisle," J.J smiles and I shake my head.

"She ran. She won't answer my calls or texts," I say, looking back down. A sigh escapes J.J as she moves in her seat.

"She will," Aunt May says. "I know she will."

"Aunt May-"

"Your Aunt is right Y/n. I have an idea," J.J says cutting me off. I pick up my head as my phone screen turns black. I look up to find J.J up off of the couch and walking over. aunt May walks around me and sits down on the couch in J.J's place. "First. We show you, your new haircut."

I raise a brow then see J.J place a mirror in front of me and when I look into it I see the mirror behind me. A double mirror so I can see the back of my head. My eyes go wide seeing that the shoulder length hair I did have was all gone. And was replaced by almost buzzed head. The top longer. Shorter than what I'm used to but it still looks great.

A light smile spreads my lips

A light smile spreads my lips. I can feel it as I look to Aunt May. "Thank you," I say and she nods with her signature wink as she leans back on her couch.

"Now that that's settled. Aunt May do you mind if I take Y/n here?" J.J asks and I look behind me, or we'll try. Out of the corner of my eye I see Aunt May nod as J.J grabs the wheel chair and we head out of the house to the back yard. My eyes go wide holding onto the arm chairs as we get down by the pool.

"What's the plan here J.J?" I ask as we stop and she walks around in front of me. She crosses her arms over her chest and smiles.

"It's been what two days since you broke the news to everybody? Two days since Hailee ran out of here. You went to the hospital yesterday, you're doing therapy. It's going to take time just like Hailee probably needs time but not too much."

"What?" I raise a brow and J.J nods pointing behind her.

"You're going to swim," J.J informs me and I shake my head.

"J.J I can't. My legs-"

"Exactly. It should help with your legs. I saw someone doing it when you were in your appointment yesterday. It seemed to work better for them so I thought we could take it slowly-" J.J pauses and walks away. My eyes follow her to where pool noodles and floaties sit. She grabs them and walks back over dropping them down in front of the both of us.

"I don't y know if this is going to work. I mean don't get me wrong, I saw it on One Tree Hill but man's was an athlete."

"And you work out or well you did. Listen same thing." J.J walks over to me, getting behind me in the wheelchair and placing her hands on the two handles. "You want Hailee back?"
