I gently awake, my face pressed against Carl's bed, the mark on my cheek extremely obvious, I must have been exhausted from the all-nighter two nights ago, with a groan and a sigh I rub my eyes. I stay as quiet as I can to let Carl rest and I slip out of my sweaty shirt, throwing on a white and red baseball shirt instead, Carl wakes up and they call us out for Dinner, we must have only been asleep an hour, Carl an hour and a half.

"Hey, come on." I grin. He nods. We both walk out and sit at the table as they pass out food.

"Hey, Carl, I want you to keep your head up okay? Your old man, he's the toughest son of a..." Shane gets cut off.

"No cussing in the house." Patricia states.

"Sorry." Shane shakes his hand at Carl.

"Lori, dinner!" Carol calls.

"She's not in there." Maggie says.

"Where is she?" Dale asks. Maggie looks at him. Carol look nervous.

"Carl, when is the last time you saw your Mom?" Shane asked.

"This afternoon, with Joseph." Carl says.

"She was worried about Rick, asked me to look in on Carl." Andrea answered.

"So she went after them?" Dale asked.

"She didn't say that." Andrea shakes her head.

"Nobody panic, she's gotta be around here somewhere." Carl begins to get up as Shane gets up and I join him. Everyone else gets up too. Walking out.

"Why would she go looking? They're tough." I state worried.

"I don't know kid, but Lori could have gotten hurt, with all the walkers." Andrea says.

"Lori can survive alone." I state. "She's strong too."

"My Mom is in danger and that's all you have to say?" Carl scowls.

"No, nono, I just mean, Lori is tough, don't be worried about her being bit or eaten, definitely worry about her getting lost or something. We should find her though." I smile trying to be wise with my words because I'm BAD at this.

"She's not at the barn, I checked the yards." Shane says.

"Well, where is she?" Carl said sounding worried, I put my arm on his head.

"She asked Daryl to go into town. Must've gone herself." Carol says, coming back.

Carl whimpers and I hug him. He pulls away and storms off, I follow him. We stop and turn around, Shane drives off.

"I hope Shane finds Mom..." Carl said, frozen in his tracks. "If he gets lost or hurt like her too..."

I pat Carl's shoulder. "Shane won't let anything happen to Lori and definitely won't get hurt. Everything will be Okay." I state firmly.

"Okay, if you say so, I trust you." Carl sighs.

"I hope so." I mutter under my breath, making sure Carl doesn't hear me.

"Huh?" Carl asks.

"Mmmm, Nothing!" I smile. Shane and Lori pull up. We run over.

"....gotta make sure the baby's alright okay?" Shane says and Lori stares at him.

"WHAT!?" I shout.

"You're having a BABY?" Carl asks. "Why didn't you tell me!?"

Lori stutters. Everyone stares in disbelief.

"Come on, let's make sure you're alright." Dale stated.

"Come on." Andrea said as she helps Lori. We follow Andrea and Lori and sit next to her on the couch, helping her clean her wounds.
