I SKIPPED TWO CHAPTERS HOLY SHIT.

We had begun barricading and re-enforcing the church after last incident. Daryl had come back with a kid named Noah, he's cute, pretty cute, I mean. He walks past and I blush, hammering wood to the shutters.

"So.. Got a thing for the new kid eh?" Carl asks with a grin as we finish up with the hammering and go inside. I nod.

"Er.. Yeah, he's cute." I smile. Rick comes in and grabs Judith, handing her to Michonne and giving Carl a hug. "Be safe."

"I will, and I'll be back soon." Rick reassures.

"We know." Carl nods with a smile.

Judith begins crying loudly and Michonne tries comforting her. I try distracting her as Carl hammers the door closed. I pick her up and coddle her as she slowly quiets down. I grin at her, gently rubbing and patting her back.

"Who's a cutie patootie?" I raise Judith up and she giggles. "Yeah, you." I sigh with a smile, putting her back in my arms. I stare at her and give her a silly face, she grabs my tongue and pulls it, giggling.

"So, little gal and big gay." Carl comes over, I stare at him with a smile. "Well, for an uncle you're pretty great too." I blink and chuckle.

"I appreciate it." I grin. "I've always had a knack for kids."

"Well, that's GOOD. You can help take care of Judith and anybody else that gets birthed." Carl says. I laugh.

"Sure, I can be a nanny. But like.. I probably won't be able to take care of more that one at a time." I chuckle. I walk off with Carl as he drops a thing of weapons in front of Gabriel.

"Pick one." He says to Gabriel. "You need to learn how to defend yourself. We can teach you!"

"Defend myself?? They said they'd go." Gabriel states.

"They were liars." Carl starts.

"And murderers, and cannibals." I add.

"Just like us. Besides the cannibalism." Gabriel argues.

"We protected ourselves. They wanted us dead... You're lucky your church has lasted this long." Is it just me or does Carl look REALLY hot right now. I blush. "You can't stay in one place anymore. Not for too long. And.. And once you're out there, you're gonna find trouble you can't hide from. You need to know how to fight."

"Er.." I clear my throat. "He's.. he's.. ho.. right. He's right." I say, nervously. Gabriel is silent for a short minute before grabbing the machete.

"Good choice." Carl says.

"Hey, twinning." I smirk, spinning mine.

"You're... You're not holding it right. You gotta be able to DRIVE it down." I blush, the only person who got dirty with that. "..'cause sometimes their skulls aren't as soft and you need to be able.." Gabriel stops him.

"I.. I'm sorry." He gulps nervously, I feel myself get nauseous. "No. I need to lie down." He says shakily.

"Hey man. You got a little heated there, he's new and nervous. You gotta take it slow." I sigh. "He's not READY. You need to be easy, safe."

"Yeah, but, he's not gonna.." I raise my eyebrow. "He's not gonna learn if we take it slow, we don't have weeks and weeks ahead of us to teach him."

"No, but we have a day... or so." I say. "Just to get him ready. Let him hold it, get used to it."

Carl nods and I smile.
