I saw as I awaken on one of the pews with a sigh. Shifting around nervously, remembering we're not in the prison. I sigh dramatically. looking around at all the sleeping. I admire the church with a grin. It's safe here, peaceful, I can barely hear the groans of Walkers outside and I definitely don't hear anyone trying to break in. I stare at the floor and glance over at Carl who was just drifting awake. We all did. Sasha left to go find Bob, Rick and Tyreese went after her, Daryl and Carol have been gone for a LONG while. We all sit silently until somebody returns I dart my head off to the entrance, Sasha, Tyreese, and Rick are back. Gabriel beings to turn away.
"Stop. What are you doing?" Sasha asks. "What. are you. Doing? This is all connected. You show up, we're being watched, and now three of us are gone."
"I... I don't... I don't have anything to do with this." Gabriel says. Sasha pulls out a knife. "Wait!"
"Don't!" Rosita shouts."Sasha, put it away." Tyreese states.
"Who's out there?" Sasha asks.
"I.... I don't have anything to do with this." Gabriel says.
"WHERE. ARE OUR PEOPLE?" Sasha asks.
"I don't have anything to.."
"WHERE ARE OUR PEOPLE!?""Please, I don't have anything to do with this. I.." Rick moves Sasha back and stands directly in front of Gabriel. I get a bit nervous, but also excited.
"Why'd you bring us here?" Rick asks.
"Please, I..."
"Stop stuttering." I says, flipping my knife."You working with someone?" Rick asks.
"I'm alone. I'm alone. I was always alone." Gabriel says.
"What about the woman in the food bank, Gabriel?" Rick says. "What did you do to her? 'You'll burn for this.' That was for you. Why? What are you gonna burn for, Gabriel?" Rick grabs him. "What? What did you do? WHAT DID YOU DO!?" I nervously step back, cowering down behind one of the church pews.
"I lock the doors at night." Gabriel says. "I always lock the doors at night, I always lock the doors at night.. I always.. My Congregation, they started coming. Atlanta was bombed the night before and they were scared. They were.. They were looking for a safe place. A place where they felt safe. And it was so early. It was so early. And the doors were still locked. You see... It was my choice. There were so many of them, and they were trying to pry the shutters and banging on the sidings, screaming at me. And so the dead came for them. Women... Children... Entire families calling my name as they were torn apart. Begging me for mercy.. Begging me for mercy." He breaks out into tears and I stare at him, in shock, anger, and sorrow for the families. "Damning me to hell. I buried their bones. I buried it all. The Lord sent you here to finally punish me." He drops down to the ground and cries. "I'm damned. I was damned before. I always lock the doors. I always lock the doors."
"Is he insane?" I asked Carl. Carl shrugs, staring in disbelief.
"There's something." Glenn perks up. "There's someone outside lying in the grass.Everyone runs outside to see an unconscious ONE LEGGED Bob. Sasha gasps. "BOB!"
Walkers creep up around us. "Ohh.. His leg." Maggie states.
"GET BOB INSIDE!" Glenn shouts. "We'll take of them." I start stabbing walkers with a piece of wood.
I run inside after Bob with a weak smile.
"I was in the graveyard. Somebody knocked me out. I woke up outside this place. It looked like a School. It was that guy, Gareth." Bob says, telling his story through sharp quick breaths. "And five other ones. They were eating my leg right in front of me. Like it was NOTHING. All proud like they had it all figured out."
"Did they have, Daryl and Carol?" Rick asks.
