"Oww. My fuckin' head..." Mick grumbled trying to remember what happened. He'd gone to bed, then he'd woken up to something grabbing at him and pulling him away and then... "Aw, bugger." He'd been kidnapped. He was sat in a metal folding chair in some kind of empty warehouse looking place, and a bit away from him was Gray Mann. Gray grinned all evil-like and sneered, "Well, well, well... Look what the cat dragged in..." Mick furrowed his brow, "... What?" The grin fell from Gray's face, "That's the expression, right? Look what the cat dragged in. I'm afraid I'm not entirely used to American expressions, but then again you're Australian so I suppose you wouldn't be either.", "...You just gonna stand there and monologue all night?" Gray laughed, "Oh, no. Not all night. Just until your wife shows up with my australium." Mick blinked, "Wait, wait, wait- You ransomed my wife?!" Gray's oily grin returned as he said, "I did, and you'd better hope she shows up or else-" Mick barked a harsh laugh and Gray knit his eyebrows together, "What? Why are you laughing?", "You ransomed my wife? Ha! That's the last bloody mistake you'll ever make.", "Oh really? You're a Sniper without a rifle. What are you going to do? Knaw me to death? Oh yes, I'm very intimidated..." Mick leaned back, "Not me, mate. I can't do shit. But my wife? Oh, she's gonna fuckin' kill ya.", "...Your wife?", "Yup." Gray rolled his eyes, "Let's pretend I believe that. Once your wife gets here with the australium it won't matter. You'll be free to go.", "What makes you think she'd give you what you're asking for?", "Because your life depends on it, Mr. Mundy." Mick rolled his eyes, "Oh yeah, where've I heard that one before?", "It does!", "You ripped that straight out of a book!" Gray opened and closed his mouth a few times before arguing, "It doesn't matter. If it works, it works.", "and when it doesn't and you end up a smear on the floor, what then?" Gray paused, then raised an eyebrow, "You're very confident in your wife's abilities.", "Why do ya think I married her?", "Hmm..." Gray rubbed his chin, "And you don't think she'll bring the australium?" Mick paused, feeling like he might have fucked up. Gray shrugged, "Ah, well... I guess I'll just have my bots kill her on sight-", "No!" Mick stood quickly and a red laser shined right in his eye. Gray smiled, "I wouldn't do that if I were you..." and he indicated his head up to the catwalk overlooking the warehouse. Mick blocked the laser with a hand and looked up. Standing on the catwalk was a bot who had a rifle trained on him. Gray grinned wickedly, "Ironic, isn't it? It's got an automatic timer for twenty seconds, so I would recommend sitting down." Mick looked down at the chair and saw that underneath it was a small circle of tape that he was standing just outside of. He hesitantly sat back down and the laser disappeared. Gray just smirked and Mick looked down as he said, "She'll bring it...", "But Mr. Mundy, you were oh so very confident that she wouldn't-", "Well I lied! I was just trying to scare you. She'll bring it, so don't- Don't do anything rash." Gray looked at this new version of Mick in front of him and replied, "and when she doesn't and ends up a smear on the floor-?", "If you lay a FUCKIN' finger on her I swear to God I'll rip your fuckin' throat out!" Gray laughed and held up his hands, "So vicious! Alright, fine. I'll give her a chance, but let me rephrase my earlier statement; You'd better hope she shows up with my australium, Mr. Mundy, because her life depends on it..." Mick just glared at him as he cackled and walked away. Mick looked up at the sniper-bot on the catwalk and wondered how the fuck he was gonna make it out of this one.
