A Black Fox A Black Cat (Cat Noir/Adrien X Aretusa Argent story)

[12] Truth

Aretusas POV:

"Truth, you already know that I am Hawkmoth. I am giving you the power to get everyone to speak the truth on what they know as long as you give me Ladybugs and Cat Noirs miraculous. Do we have a deal?" Hawkmoth spoke in my head. I want to resist it but I need this so I can be on Hawkmoths good side and not get cast out. I already lost Adrien. I can't lose anyone else now.

"We have a deal Hawkmoth." I agreed as a purple blob turned me into what looks like Rainer Rougette but instead of the gold lining, it was a bright yellow, and my black fox suit was a lot darker than the original black that I'm so use to, and my weapon is my own staff that I can cast white orbs at people to get them to tell me the truth. I jumped out of Adriens bedroom window to get out and to get the truth from everyone, no matter what the cost it may be. 

Adriens POV:

I walked back to my bedroom and opened the door to see that Aretusa was in her Rainer Rougette form but instead of the gold lining that I was so used to seeing, it was more of a yellow and her fox outfit was a lot darker black than originally. She jumped out the window before I could even say anything. 

"I saw what happened kid." Plagg started to say. I looked at Plagg with a confused look on my face.

"Well, she got akumatized. It landed in her miraculous which is her ring." Plagg continued. 

"Why didn't she resist it?" I questioned with worry.

"She tried to resist it, but she just let it happen anyway because she was so done at keeping secrets and being a failure towards you and I think she said towards Hawkmoth as well." Plagg finished. 

"We got to do something and save her Plagg." I argued. 

"Are you sure you won't let your emotions get the best of you kid?" Plagg asked. I shook my head and he nodded.

"Plagg, claws out!" I transformed into Cat Noir and jumped out the window to chase after Ari. 

I pulled out my staff to call Ladybug and it went straight to voicemail. Damn it Bugaboo. I need your help on this! 

I managed to locate Ari after following her destruction that she's leaving. She ended up at the park and was about to hit, wait is that Alya and Nino making out? At least they're a couple now. 

"Hey, my foxy lady. Today must be a purr-fect day for a picnic, don't you think?" I taunted as I was leaning on my staff then smirked. She turned around and glared at me while trying to fire a white orb at me.  

"I am Truth. You will tell me the Truth and give up your miraculous!" She sneered while still firing her white orbs at me. 

"No can do M'lady." I taunted as I managed to dodge out of the way from the orbs. 

"You really need to stop taunting the akumatized villains Kitten." Ladybug says annoyed as she lands next to me. 

"Oh, heya bugaboo. What took you so long?" I greeted with a smirk. 

"Sorry, was busy doing things with the uh... boyfriend." She says while she blushed slightly. 

"I'm so happy for you Bugaboo." I smiled. 

"So, tell me about the akumatized villain?" She asked.

"Well, where do I start. My Kwami witnessed the entire thing and well, it's Ari which is Rainer as we both know. Her name is truth now and by what my kwami told me." I explained the best I could. She nodded.  

"Right, but why didn't she resist it?" Ladybug asked. 

"She was done at keeping secrets and being a failure towards her boyfriend and to everyone around her." I said but leaving out the part that she knows Hawkmoth and our argument.
