[20] Dark Cupid

Aretusa's POV:

Cat Noir and I jumped up onto the roof as I let go of his hand just so I can scout the area around the city to see if I can spot Dark Cupid anywhere. I couldn't really see much, and I think Cat Noir is having the same issue as me. I gave Cat Noir a nudge and pointed towards the Eiffel Tower since it's the best spot to overlook the city to spot where Dark Cupid might be in which he nodded in response as we took off running towards the Eiffel Tower. 

Once we reached the Eiffel Tower, we jumped up onto the main platform that was high enough to see the rooftops of the city. Another explosion happened in the far distance by the river, I think. I saw LB swung up to a higher point and she was dodging the arrows that Dark Cupid was firing at her. I nudged Cat Noir then pointed over to where LB and Dark Cupid were and he nodded.

We ended up hopping down the Eiffel Tower and started jumping along the rooftops towards where LB was. We landed next to LB and smiled at her. 

"So, what's the sitch LB?" I asked as I looked at where Dark Cupid was, and Cat Noir chuckled at my comment.

"Dark Cupid obviously." LB said in a duh tone and I rolled my eyes. 

"No shit LB. Why is he spreading so much hate?" I asked as I was trying to get a decent answer out of her. She rolled her eyes but smiled. 

"Probably didn't get his wings trimmed on time." Cat Noir shrugged and I giggled which caused LB to roll her eyes at his comment.

"Dark Cupid as in Kim bought a Valentine's Day present for Chloe but she turned it down and laughed in his face all while filming the whole thing." LB explained as Cat Noir and I nodded. Poor Kim, crushing on the wrong girl who would film the whole thing making him feel absolutely worthless. No wonder he was akumatized. I shook my head from those thoughts. 

"Where's the Akuma then LB?" I asked as I got my staff out ready for a battle. 

"It's in his pin that is on his chest but it's a bit hard to get to it when he's shooting those arrows constantly." She explained and nodded towards the pin that was on his chest. I looked towards Dark Cupid who was firing arrows at civilians and he flashed in fox paws. I then looked towards the Eiffel Tower and that flashed. I looked towards Cat Noirs right hand and that flashed too.  

"I may have a plan." I said as I looked back towards LB and Cat Noir looked at me shaking his head. I gave him a reassuring smile which cheered him up a bit but still hating the idea of me having a plan again since the last time I had a plan I ended up dead. I whispered my plan to them, and they both nodded even though Cat Noir is still hating the idea. 

We went our separate ways to get in position. My plan was for me to lure Dark Cupid over towards the Eiffel Tower so Cat Noir could use his cataclysm to drop the beams from the Eiffel Tower onto him to make him trapped then LB could do her whole lucky charm thing, free the akuma and everything will be a-okay. Well, that's the plan anyway or so I hope. 

I spotted Dark Cupid, and a small smirk was on my face. I'm so going to love taunting him.

"Yo! Fairy Godmother. Aren't you going to give me a pretty dress so I can ride in a pumpkin carriage all the way to a Palace just so I can dance with the Prince until midnight?" I taunted in which pissed off Dark Cupid.

"I am not a Fairy or even a Godmother. I am Dark Cupid. I will spread all the hate throughout the city of Paris, and you will be next." He retorted angrily as he loaded an arrow into his bow then pulled back and fired the arrow at me, I happily dodged.  

"Well, that's too bad, I thought you would grant me my wish to be free from Hawkmoths slimy hold that he has over me." I taunted as I saw the glowing butterfly outline around Dark Cupids face.
