[14] Copycat

Aretusas POV:

An alarm woke both me and Adrien up. Welp, time to get up and see what today brings, I guess. I pulled out my phone and logged into the Ladyblog under the user 'Rainerisbetter23' and saw that this guy named Theo Barbot who is really good at sculpting is going to unveil the statue of Ladybug and Cat Noir in the center of the city but needed Ladybug and Cat Noir to appear to help unveil it. I turned and looked at Adrien.

"You going to go as Cat Noir to this thing, Hun?" I asked. He chuckled. 

"I am but I wouldn't mind bringing a plus one to this." He smiled. 

"Let me guess. If I say no, you're going to force me to go anyway, right?" I groaned.

"Yep." He said as he popped the 'P' at the end. 

"Ugh, you're so annoying." I groaned again and buried my head under the covers.

"Yeah, but you still love me." He said as he hugged me from behind. I giggled. 

We stayed like that for 10 minutes. It was nice. I just can't believe that he's forcing me to go as his plus one to this unveiling of the statues of him and LB, but it has no Rainer in it. Like I don't care or anything, it should be just them anyway.

"We better get going then if we want to be there for the unveiling thing." I said as I got up out of bed. I ended up pushing Adrien out of bed and he fell onto the floor. I giggled. 

"Not. Funny!" He said, annoyed. 

"Zorro, Fox me up!" I said as I transformed into Rainer. 

"Plagg, Claws out!" Adrien said as he transformed into Cat Noir. 

"Let's go!" I jumped out of Adriens bedroom window with Cat Noir alongside me just jumping rooftop to rooftop while having fun doing so. 

"Tag you're it." He said as he gently pushed me. 

"Hey! No fair!" I groaned. I chased Cat Noir.

"Get back here you alley cat!" I said, annoyed. 

"You gotta get me fur-st M'lady." He purred. 

"Ugh, you and your stupid cat puns." I managed to keep up a lot quicker than last time. He looked back at me and realized; I caught up.

"Tag you're it now!" I pushed him gently. He groaned. 

We ended up in the center of the city where the unveiling will take place. I saw a lot of people surrounded the statues that is covered by a black curtain. We hopped down from the rooftop and was greeted by the mayor of the city and the sculptor, Theo Barbot that designed the statues. News camera crews were filming me and Cat Noir asking questions like: 

"Are you excited for the unveiling?" The first reporter asks.

"Yes, we are excited to see the unveiling." I answered.

"Have you figured out who Hawkmoth is?" The second reporter asks. 

"We do not know the identity of Hawkmoth yet. We are close to figuring out who he is just ever so slowly" Cat Noir answered. 

"Rainer, do you have a boyfriend?" The third reporter asks. 

"No comment." I answered.

We tried our best to answer the questions, but it has gotten to the point where it was more personal than what's going around us at the moment. I tapped Cat Noir on the shoulder to get his attention while trying to retain a smile for the cameras that are in front of us. 

"Where's LB?" I questioned.

"No clue. I tried to call her on my Cat phone, but she isn't answering." Cat Noir replied and I just nodded at his response.
