[22] Catta Rouge

Aretusa's POV:

I looked around at the caved in roof and smiled to myself. Man, I'm going to love this more than being Rainer Rougette, honestly. This one has a lot more power and potential than any other miraculous that I have seen. Thankyou~ God Father. The purple butterfly silhouette appeared around my face indicating that Hawkmoth is talking to me.

"God Daughter. I see you are liking your new miraculous, but I don't see any progress on getting me Cat Noir's and Ladybugs miraculous." He sneered. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm getting there God Father. I'm just baiting them in here, so it'll be easy to do just that." I scoffed.

I heard Cat Noir land 5 feet away from me in what seems to be his new look. Wait, is that? No, it can't be! That's Rainer Rougettes outfit but mixed with Cat Noirs. I look at his outfit and I was so gob smacked.

"Like the new outfit?" Cat Noir asked as he was flexing. I saw LB facepalming at his ego.

"Cat Noir." I called in which he stopped flexing and turned towards me.

"Yes m'lady?" He flirted. I rolled my eyes.

"Your ego is showing, and I can help fix that!" I sneered while sprinting towards Cat Noir.

Cat Noir pulled out his staff to deflect every attack I have against him. Just then LB joined into the fight. It's no use, I need to finish this up quick. Ladybug swung her yo-yo towards me and I managed to grab onto it then I pulled against it hard in which flung her yo-yo out of her hand.

"Noooo." She yelled out. I smirked.

I grabbed the yo-yo and swung it around then it tied up LB in an instant to a post. She hung her head down in shame in which I turned and smirked at Cat Noir.

"Your turn kitty!" I growled lowly at him. The look on his face is priceless to me. He looks so terrified. I like it!

He tried to back away but before he did, he brought out his staff and what he did next was unexpected. He summoned water element into the staff in which it made a bubble, and he aimed it towards me. Just before I could do anything, he managed to trap me into the bubble, and I started punching my fists against it only to find it being indestructible.

"No! You can't do this to me!" I shouted at Cat Noir while feeling tears threatening to pour.

"I didn't even know this was a thing." He said amazed.

The purple butterfly lit around my eyes again.

"I'm sorry my dear God Daughter. I am taking away your powers." Hawkmoth said in a displeasing tone.

"NO! Please don't take away my power God Father. I can do this. Please don't do this to me." I pleaded as tears fell from my eyes. I felt the purple and black blob in which detransformed me into my normal Catta Rouge outfit. I have never felt so powerless and less helpful. I slammed my fist onto the bubble ground as hard as I can, but the bubble prevented me from injuring my hand. Cat Noir came up to the bubble and placed his hand on the outer wall.

"I'm so sorry Ari but it has to be done." He apologized. I looked up at him obviously a mess with my tear-stained eyes. I lifted my hand to where his was but on the inner side of the bubble. I couldn't say anything to him because I know he was right. I shakily sighed out then I nodded.

He made the bubble disappear and I dropped to my hands and knees. I kept bashing my hands onto the ground till they bled but Cat Noir grabbed my wrists and pulled me into a hug. I broke down crying on him. How can I feel so weak in front of my best friend and ex-boyfriend. I feel so useless and stupid. I have a new miraculous in which I was meant to be extremely powerful than Cat Noir and Ladybug itself, but it never worked.

"I still love you Ari." He whispered out.

"W-w-why do you love me? You shouldn't love me!" I cried out with a sob.

"I will always love you Ari no matter what. You mean so much to me. You don't need to be powerful because I already know that you are powerful in your own way, miraculous or no miraculous, I will always love you my dear sweet, beautiful m'lady." He said soothingly and I kept shaking in his grip as it loosens.

"Zorro, fox me down." He said and Zorro flew out of the ring. She looked at me with concern in her eyes but ended up hugging my cheek.

"I miss you so much Ari." She says with tears in her eyes. I smiled too.

"I miss you too my little buddy." I hugged her back.

"Rin, claws in!" I said my detransformation as Rin flew out of my necklace and stared boredly at Zorro, Cat Noir and me.

"Who's this?" Zorro huffed annoyed.

"This is R-" Before I could introduce, Rin cut me off.

"The names Rin you stupid fuzzball." He hissed at Zorro in which she glared at Rin. I didn't know Kwami's could have so much hatred for one another.

"Who are you calling fuzzball, fleabag!" Zorro hissed in which Rin rolled her eyes.

"Okay, okay. Settle down the both of you." LB piped up to settle the feud between the Kwami's.

"I think this belongs to you m'lady." Cat Noir said as he handed over the fox tail ring. I smiled happily then took it from his hand and put it back onto my right ring finger where it belonged.

"Thank you my Minou." I said and kissed his cheek. He ended up blushing at the kind gesture.

"Also, one question?" He turned and asked.

"Yeah?" I responded and looked into his emerald green eyes.

"Are we still... You know..." He stuttered and I sighed.

"Yes, we are together again my love." I finished his sentence in which he gripped under my chin and our lips collided with each other. Our lips moved in sync, and I didn't really want this to end until LB cleared her throat in which we pulled away breathing heavily.

"I think it's time you should go home Ari and Cat." She said as her earrings beeped. She sighed and said her goodbyes then left to her home. I giggled and Cat Noir chuckled.

He gripped my waist and started jumping along the rooftops towards his bedroom. We dropped in with ease and he ended up detransforming then he turned to face me with a small smirk.

"What?" I questioned while looking at him confused.

He didn't say anything and started walking towards me ever so slowly until there was no space in between us. My breath hitched with how close he was to me then he lifted my chin up so I can stare into his beautiful emerald eyes. I love his eyes. I love everything about this person right in front of me. He means the world to me that words can't describe. He ended up bringing his lips down to mine and our lips moved in sync. I moaned into the kiss in which he took it as a sign to pick me up and my legs wrapped around his waist. He ended up walking over towards the bed still with me wrapped around him and our lips still connected.

He put me down on the bed and started hovering over me. He's teasing me, then he brought his lips down again, and our lips collided again. He didn't want to stop kissing me, nor did I ever want to stop kissing him. I want to just stay here forever in his arms where I feel safe.

I love this man with my whole heart. We've been through so much together with LB as well and there isn't anything that Gabriel or Hawkmoth can do about it. We work so well as a team and can easily take him out as such.
