[21] Teaming up with the enemy

Aretusa's POV:

I arrived at the Agreste Mansion, I rang the doorbell that was by the gate and was buzzed in. I made my way to the front door and saw that Gabriel was waiting for me to arrive. 

"God Daughter. How was your walk?" He asked in that same monotone voice and I just internally rolled my eyes.

"God Father. My walk was excellent. How's your attitude problem?" I taunted which made him growl in annoyance. I rolled my eyes as he walked inside in which I followed him all the way towards his office. He pressed his fingers on the patterns on Emilee's portrait and descended. I did the same and descended down to the garden below. 

I walked along the bridge towards Emilee's pod and stared at it while waiting for Gabriel's return. I am surprised that Adrien hasn't figured it out yet that he has a massive garden under his damn house. Gabriel cleared his throat which made me jump a bit and I turned towards to stare at Gabriel as he held a tiny black jewelers box in his hand. I looked at the intricate design that was on the said box, it had Gabriel's butterfly symbol on it with a red circle surrounding the intricate butterfly design. That's so not evil at all.  

I looked up at him with my eyebrow raised in which he handed the box over to me. I'd happily took it from him, I wonder what kind of miraculous that I'm going to get this time. I opened the box, and it revealed a necklace. The necklace looks really cute to say the least, its shaped like a paw but has little red gems as eyes on the palm of the paw. I wonder what animal this is.  

I carefully pulled the necklace out of the box and put it on gently. A bright red light glowed out of it and revealed a tiny black and red cat. It had red eyes whereas Zorro had purple eyes. This Kwami looks like an actual cat but not similar to Plagg, this one's female so she doesn't have the antennas like Plagg does.  

"Hi Ari, I'm Rin and I'm your Kwami. All you have to say is 'Rin, claws out' to transform or if you want to detransform all you have to say is 'Rin, claws in'. Your main power is called absorb which means you can absorb the same power when touched but when you use it it'll take you 10 minutes before you detransform again. Your weapon is a staff with a red paw print on it, it extends to your advantage just like Cat Noirs." She explained and I nodded in understanding. 

So, Rin is now my new Kwami given to me by my own God Father. Man, I miss Zorro already. I am so going to have fun with this one and I can't wait to see what my outfit looks like when I transform. I was so giddy about this that I'm missing the part that now I'll be working with my God Father and not help the Heroes of Paris to destroy him. 

"She will be your Kwami for now on. Cat Noir and Ladybug won't see it coming and I hope we shall work together my dear God Daughter." He said and I smirked. 

"This is going to be fun." I had this evil grin on my face. Yes, Cat Noir and LB won't ever see me coming and it will be easier to nab their miraculous' easily. 

"Rin, claws out!" I said the transformation words. 

I transformed into my new look. The outfit I'm wearing is a full red spandex suit with black lining to it which is similar to my fox one and around my neck was my bell which is black. My ears are fully red but has black tips to them and my tail is a long half and half red and black belt. I pulled out my staff which was fully black and noticed the red paw print on it. It did extend like my Kwami said. I feel more like Cat Noir but as a female version. Oh, this will be much easier to lure him as he's a sucker for other cat like heroes. 

"Nooroo, dark wings rise." Gabriel said as he transforms into Hawkmoth. He pulled out his cane and flipped the top open to reveal a purple akuma which flew into my bell. I happily let it happen as it's the only thing that will help me become more powerful.
