Chapter 6: Leopold vs Ceil

Leopold was waiting in his dorm for the final day of the ranking's tournament to start. Day two had been a rollercoaster of mysteries and fun and now he was for once looking forward to the final rounds. The weirdest part of the whole thing was still not to be unveiled and he was ready to solve it! What was it exactly? Well...

"Just where in the world is Zion?!" Leopold yelled into the room. That's right. Zion had still not come back to the dorms after the second day, saying that someone had called him to meet and he was hoping it was a cute girl. "Just come back! Are you dead or something? If you're dead, please say so!"

Leopold sighed and looked at the remaining students for the last few rounds. "So I, Nix, Zion, and Sparrow are left from our class and it looks like... Cinder and Breeze are still in there too! That's good at least..." He looked at who he would be going up against next and sighed. "This will be rough... Especially since I have no information on her whatsoever."

As he thought to himself, the door to the dorm opened and Zion walked in. Leopold turned around and smiled. "Finally! Zion, where have you been? Come on! I gotta know what you been up to!"

Zion looked at Leopold and smiled. "I just got myself a girlfriend!"

Leopold's eyes widened. "Really?! What happened? Who is it? Is she pretty? When are you guys getting married? Am I invited?!"

Zion laughed. "Calm down, Leo. So you know how in my fight with princess Amy she was acting a bit weird." Leopold nodded. "Well apparently she likes me and asked be to be her boyfriend. I accepted as she was a princess and seemed nice and was pretty and..."

Leopold nodded. "So you're now dating a royal of the Kushida kingdom. That is quite impressive, Zion. Happy for you."

Zion nodded. "This also means that now that I have a girlfriend... we need to get you one!"

Leopold agreed. "Yep and I already have my sights set on Nix or Breeze or both! I just need to talk to them again..."

"Well hopefully you can talk to at least one of them after the tournament." Zion encouraged. "And hey! If you make a higher spot than them maybe you can try with all that power!"

Leopold sighed. "Not likely. I'm not all that strong so I'll probably be out within the next few rounds. I've just been lucky I've been getting easy opponents..."

"You think that you're not that strong?! Do you even know what that means?" Zion asked, rhetorically.

"Of course I do!" Leopold protested. As he did, the announcement magic device came on to tell everyone of the final days start. 

"Hello! Remaining students in the Ranking's Tournament please head down to the arena floor! If you are going to watch the matches please go to the stands! Thank you and let the final day of the tournament begin!"

She waited for her match, clicking her tongue. So far, she'd passed every match with no problem and had shown how powerful she was. Yet, it was her brother who was the idol of her affection and she still hadn't caught up to him... "Why is he so far ahead of me... Every time I try to catch up to him I just can't...

Sighed and looked at the matches. Her next one was against someone named Leopold Stratus and someone who had dazzled everyone in his matches. "Same name as my brother. I wonder if he'll a tough opponent for once..."

She was scheduled for the last match of the fifth round and as she waited she couldn't help but think about how this was going to go... All her friends had passed their matches, so she had to! "That way I can fight big brother and prove I'm good enough for him!"
