"Begin!"

The match started and both Leopold and Lucas charged headfirst at one another, swords unsheathed. Leopold knew that this battle would be a tough one, so he was prepared to use more than 0.00000000000000000000000001% of his power this time. "Maybe Lucas can pull me up to a full 1%. Question is can I pull him up to even 0.5%?"

Leopold and Lucas' swords clashed and the both boys jumped back. "Looks like you've gotten better, Lucas."

Lucas grinned and pointed his sword at Leopold. "Maybe just a little... Bow about you? That technique needs some work, also."

Leopold shrugged at Lucas' comment. "I haven't had many good fights so far." He smiled. "Tell me, Lucas, can you teach me a new sword style?"

Lucas jumped from his spot. "Maybe!"

Leopold too jumped. "Good! Then let's get this going!"

"Man, they're really going at it..." Zion mumbled. After Zion had again won his battle and advanced, he'd decided to watch the rest of the matches. It was now his dorm mates turn and he watched as Leopold fought his best friend. "I'd never be able to match this level of power..."

"So you're amazed too, huh?" Someone said from behind him. Zion looked and saw that a girl just a bit smaller than he was was there, looking pleased. "Yeah, those two knuckleheads are pretty impressive."

Zion blinked. She looked like... "That's right. She's Ivory Stashin, Second Princess of the Stashin Kingdom and the person Leopold and this other guy are supposed to be the attendants of... I think she's still in this tournament if I remember right."

"So, how long have you known Leopold?" Ivory asked Zion.

Zion shrugged. "Since last week I guess. I'm Leopold's dorm buddy and personal advisor." She smiled and looked back at Leopold. "And yeah, he's pretty impressive..."

"How much more powerful do you think Leopold can get?" Ivory questioned.

"Don't know." Zion replied, blatantly. "From what I've seen of Leopold, he doesn't ever use his full power. Still, I don't know why that is..."

Ivory yawned. "Nobody had ever known besides that idiot. Even me and Lucas are clueless to as why he doesn't try harder." She turned around and waved to Zion. "See you in the rest of the tournament, new guy!"

Zion blinked. "She's sure an interesting one..."

CLASH

Leopold and Lucas against clashed swords as the battle raged on. It had now been ten minutes since the start of the battle, making it the third longest of the whole tournament. "I'm guessing that Lucas is fighting at about 25% of his power by now, so I should step my game up..."

Leopold jumped away and hoped back into his starting spot. "I think that it's time I showed a little more grit..." He sheathed his sword and began to start using his power. "Plasma armor!" Plasma started to surround Leopold's body as he was now in an "armor" of plasma energy.

Lucas now too was in his starting position and smirked. "Okay. If you're going to use the magic you never use, then I should do the same!" Lucas took a deep breath. "Defense! Iron Wall!"

Leopold watched as Lucas formed his famous "Iron Wall". The iron wall was a magic spell that put up a defense barrier around its caster and with how strong it was, penetrating it would take some work... "Nice one, Luke..."

Lucas smiled even brighter. "Whatcha going to do now, Leo? Going to come at me with that fancy unknown power of yours?"

Leopold shrugged. "Well as a spirit using my spirit essence was necessary to defeat you..."
