The Summer I Turned Pretty
A NOW SEMI-DRY Lemon and Belly made their way upstairs and towards their familiar shared childhood bedroom.
You would think at the age of fifteen, by now one of the twins would want to move out of their shared bedroom but that was not the case for the Conklin Twins.
Neither twin ever opened their mouth to Susannah about ever moving themselves into one of the few guest bedrooms in the house and neither think they ever will.
At times, it could get annoying, sharing a room with someone you already share a room with back home, but when you need a shoulder to cry on or a person to be your pillow or just want someone to exist with you, Lemon and Belly had each other.
"Somehow I'm always going to be amazed by this room even if we've seen it a bajillion times." Lemon let out a soft chuckle as her eyes surveyed the untouched room.
A sudden gasp left Lemons mouth as soon as her eyes had caught onto a familiar stuffed animal, "Bo!" She called out as she reached for the brown teddy bear.
"Mr. Junior Mint!" Belly also exclaimed, a stuffed white teddy bear with shades on was held in her grasp as she stared adoringly down at it.
Lemon felt her smile falter.
Conrad had won Belly that stuffed animal, just as he had won her Bo.
Sometimes to Lemon, she felt as if everything within her life was just always going to be shared with her twin.
Don't get her wrong, she doesn't mind, she quite likes it. But nowadays it felt as if it wasn't just insignificant stuff that she was sharing with her twin, felt like more personal stuff was starting to be shared with Belly.
Lemon didn't like having these such conflicting feelings especially dealing with her twin. Belly was her other half, someone she'd put before herself if it meant she was happy.
But sometimes Lemon wished she could be selfish for once.
Lemon cleared her throat, putting a grin back on her face, "Well Jelly Belly, what are you gonna wear for Whale Of A Tail?" She asked curiously as she made her way to her side of their shared bed which was closest to the door, turning around to sit down.
"You know, I was thinking you should wear- AH!" Lemon let out a startled scream as she felt her body being shoved back into the bed, a body falling on top of hers.
Lemons once tightly shut eyes had snapped open, Jeremiah's face being the first thing she sees.
Him and his smug little smile.
"Oh, you asshole." Lemon grumbled as her lips formed into a line, rolling her eyes as a sigh escaped from her nose.
"What? Didn't like my little surprise?" Jeremiah questioned, tilting his head to the side.
Belly could only stare at the two, a confused look on her face - as if she was trying to figure something out.
What was she trying to figure out?
"Miah, if you don't get off of me, you're gonna get a case of purple balls in a few seconds." Lemon threatened calmly.
Jeremiah blinked at the girl before letting out a soft laugh, "Hey! My balls have done nothing to you."
"And they never will, thank you!" Lemon gave Jeremiah a wink as Jeremiah then got up and situated himself to lean onto the pillows. Lemon staying in her laid out position, feeling too lazy to move.
