"I have to say, I'm gonna miss the mansion, but I suppose we'll still have space for you all to come visit," Phastos said, sitting with his arm around his husband and son. Eros had portaled Jack and Ben to London after the shock of your victory had worn off and you'd celebrated still being alive.
"Of course, I promised your son I'd take him to visit a different planet," you reminded him. When The Living Tribunal had sent you back to London, he'd set the world right again. Though Phastos was no longer the Chicago Stark, he still had Ben and Jack. And that was enough for him.
"Cool! I picked Saturn, Y/N," Jack said excitedly.
"Never mind, don't come back," Phastos rolled his eyes.
"It feels so weird, doesn't it?" Sersei said. "Going back to our lives from before the test. I mean everything we did in the last few months is gone."
"I still can't believe they changed the whole world," Dane said. "They must have been powerful."
You had all come to Dane's place to celebrate your continued existence. You were sitting on the couch with Druig's arm around you.
"They were definitely powerful," you said. "They're the oldest beings in the multiverse."
"Multiverse?" Ben asked. "As in more than one?"
"Sorry to break it to you, but you're not alone in the universe," Eros clapped his back. You rolled your eyes at him.
"What do we do now?" Makkari asked. They all looked at you, but you had no idea. You weren't sure you could tell the other Eternals of the Emergences anymore. That would disrupt the balance and probably bring them back. But could you sit by and let it go on? You didn't have a chance to answer because Sprite suddenly spoke, looking back at Thena.
"Is that the Ebony blade?" she asked.
Thena had been walking around the room, looking at the different artifacts Dane had. She was now holding a sword in her hand, her eyes narrowed as she looked at it. Your own eyes widened as you recognized the sword.
"Why do you have that sword?" you asked Dane slowly.
"It's an old family heirloom," Dane replied. He looked nervous. That wasn't a good sign. You exchanged a look with Sersei. You knew what that blade was, and you didn't like the idea of Sersei's boyfriend being the next Black Knight. You thought that line had ended centuries ago. Was this what was The Living Tribunal was talking about?
"This is a dangerous blade," Thena said, putting it back in its holder.
"Good thing most people don't use swords these days then," Dane chuckled nervously.
"Yes, most people do not," Thena said.
"So, anyway," Sersei changed the subject abruptly. "What are you going to do now? Do we have any idea what The Living Tribunal was talking about with his warning?"
You had told the others of his last words to you in your mind. It was the other reason you didn't know if leaving the planet was such a good idea anymore.
"I guess we'll wait and see," you said.
"We're not leaving anymore?" Makkari asked.
"I think something is coming, and we'll need to be ready. Here on Earth," you said.
"We've definitely put too much work in saving this planet already," Phastos said. "Can't let it all burn in flames now."
"So what should we do, boss?" Kingo asked.
You looked around at your family. You knew that whatever was coming, you'd face it together. Like always. Your eyes met Druig's and you smiled. "Go live your lives," you said as you looked back at the others. "When whatever it is comes, we'll face it then. Until then, just live your lives."
