The sun is about to set when Duke Crescendo decides to leave. I was watching them, my brother and him, as they converse the whole time. They mostly talked about wotk related stuff kaya hindi ako nakakasama sa usapan.

Madalas din magtama ang tingin naming dalawa ni Duke Crescendo. Agad ko siyang binibigyan ng maliit na ngiti pero pagkatapos non ay mag iiwas na siya ng tingin at iiling bahagya sa sarili.

I didn't stop smiling at him, though. I wanted us to be friendly and on good terms. I don't want to overthink and make myself sad for assuming that he hates me.

Tumayo ako mula sa pagkakaupo nang makitang naghahanda na silang dalawa para lumabas ng mansion.

"Do your job properly, Adam. I'll be waiting for a report daily." Ani Duke Crescendo sa nakaluhod pa ring Adam..

Napangisi at mahinang tumawa si Kuya sa sinabi ni Duke Crescendo.

"Akala ko ba ang rason ng pagparito mo ay pauwiin na si Adam at Portia? Bakit parang iiwanan mo sila dito... ulit?"

"Why don't you keep your mouth shut, huh Clerebold?" Singhal niya kay Kuya. "If you really want me to take them, then sure. Tell Portia to pack her bags then."

Nawala ang ngisi ni Gabriel at saka tumikhim.

"Shall we go now?" Pag iibang usapan ng Kuya ko. "Bago pa may mapauwing ibang tao."

Maski ako ay napangisi sa pagbabago ng ugali ni Gabriel. He knows that if Portia leaves, he won't be able to visit her regularly because of his responsibilities as the new head of our house. Idagdag pa na nandito ako at si Abel na kailangan niyang alagaan at bantayan.

Speaking of Abel, I haven't seen him today. Maski si Portia ay hindi na din nagpakita pagkatapos niya akong ihatid kaninang umaga sa drawing room. Magkasama ba ang dalawa?

"Amaury, sasama ka ba sa paghatid sa fiance mo?" Tanong ni Kuya na ikinagulat ko. I also heard Duke Cresendo hissed at Gabriel after saying that he is my fiance.

I bit my lip and looked at him, "Will you allow me to accompany you, Duke Crescendo?"

He looked at me coldly and turned his back before answering.

"It is your house. Do whatever you want."

My brother sighed as he looked at me, but I gave him a smile. Duke Crescendo was cold, but at least he's not saying no to me. He's not rejecting me immediately, so I'll take that chance.

Nang makarating kami sa labas ay muling nagsalita si Duke Crescendo bago sumakay ng tuluyan sa karwahe niya

"I'll come back to bring gifts for Abel. That's all I wanted to say. No side comments from you, or I'll pull out your scandalous tongue. " He said while looking at Gabriel.

Hindi niya ako tinapunan ng tingin kahit saglit lang.

"But Master, the gifts are in the carr-" biglang pinutol ni Duke Crescendo ang sasabihin sana ng butler niyang si Kaeden.

"Tomorrow, Kaeden. I shall inform you that the gifts weren't ready yet. I. WILL. BRING. IT. TOMORROW." Aniya at saka sumakay na sa carriage niya.

Sumipol si Kuya dahil sa pagdadabog ng Duke at napa-iling naman si Kaeden bago kami hinarap ni Kuya

"Lord Clerebold, Mistress Amau... I mean, Lady Amaury, we shall head for today. Thank you for welcoming us. Have a good rest, milady. I am delighted to see you again."

Pagkatapos umalis ng mga bisita ay saka kami bumalik ng mansion ni Kuya. He was laughing as we walked.

"So how was it? How's your impression of your so-called fiance?"
