The girls were back at soon for another week, Evie and Java were in their classes as Tracy stormed into the bathroom, kicking a trash can angrily near the sinks. "Fuck!" Tracy yelled, as Astrid looked over at her to see what had happened. Tracy just looked at herself in the bathroom mirror, touching her eyes as she was being careful to not poke herself with her fingers in the eyes. Tracy just looked over over to Astrid, sniffling. "So, um, do you just want to go to the boardwalk and sell some shit?" Tracy asked, looking at Astrid, to see her putting makeup on.

"I can't. Umm, I'm late for my biology actually, and we're doing a play, and I'm a mermaid." Astrid told her, sticking a gem near her eyes. Astrid then just smiled at Tracy before walking out of the bathroom, which left Tracy all by herself. Tracy just stared at herself in the mirror. Pulling some powder out of her bag, Tracy applies it to her lip which had been bleeding days prior due to Evie's ring.

Taking out lipgloss, Tracy then applied it to her lips to make her look presentable. Looking at her self in the mirror, Tracy wonders what changed. Her eyes piercing into her soul through the mirror, as she remembered hanging out with Yuma and Noel, and wondering why she had left them in the first place. If Tracy hadn't left them, would she still be her baby self? Would she have grown? And would she be friends with Java and Evie like she was now?

"Mel, here is my address. Could you drop me off there?" Java asked, turning to look at her as herself, Tracy and Evie were getting picked up after school by Mel. "Yea, sure sweetie." Mel agreed, as Tracy complained about she couldn't even remember how to spell photographer properly. Mel just looked back at Tracy through the review mirror, looking at the girls who had no emotion in their faces and were bored out of their minds. Mel just put the indicator on, as Evie looked weird and confused because it wasn't how they usually got to the Freeland's house.

"Where are we going, Mel?" Evie questioned, not knowing where they were going since it wasn't the way to Tracy or Jada's house. The only reason Jada wanted to go to her house was to get more clothes and to see her brother again since they had only seen each other at school, but it wasn't very often since they had different friends and didn't have many classes together.

Slowing the car down, Evie felt like she was going to be sick. She felt wronged and she really liked staying at Tracy's so she hoped she wasn't going back. Mel had just gotten out of the car, slamming the door on her way out in anger. The girls just followed after, making their way towards Evie's house. "Brooke, wow!" Mel called out, seeing Brooke on the couch as the front door was fully open. "I've been calling for two weeks." Mel stated, seeing Brooke allow a guy to go away so they could talk.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry." Brooke apologies, looking down as if she was sad. "I just didn't want you to see me like this." Brooke told her, making sure her hat was on still. "Mel, my ear." Brooke mumbled, which was barely audible for anyone to hear. "What?" Mel asked, not hearing what Brooke had said. "They cut off my ears." Brooke cried out, looking at Mel with tears in her eyes that were begging to be let out. "Okay, girls, please go out to the car, okay? Please." M,e told the,, seeing Brooke take off her green, bucket hat to show Mel had happened.

"Please, go out to the car." Mel insisted, seeing as Tracy looked traumatised a bit. Evie just grabbed into Jada's arm and dragged her outside as Tracy lagged behind them. The girls just ended going to a window, and not the car to see what happened. "I had that little turkey neck thing, you know?" Brooke exp, wined, moving her hands to her neck. "I mean, all of a sudden I had a kid to support. I mean, fuck!" Brooke complained, as Mel sat down next to her on the couch. "You had plastic surgery." Mel commented, sorta knowing what Brooke meant. Brooke just hummed, as some little tears finally came out of her eyes.

"Why? You were so pretty." Tracy complimented, sticking her head inside of the window frame. "Evie knows what I'm talking about." Brooke exclaimed, nodding her head towards her niece. "You know, that little kind of flow thing, that was in the pictures." Brooke sated, moving her fingers under her chin to show Tracy and Mel what she had meant. "Oh, my ears so bad!" She complained, tucking pieces of hair behind her eyes to show what happened to them. "Look." She told Mel, showing Mel her ears. "So is this, like, a standard procedure?" Mel asked, getting a closer look at them.

"Yeah, I guess." Brome hummed out, not knowing if it was true or not. "I mean, you know, they had to tuck the skin somewhere, I guess." Brooke let out, as Mel grabbed a light cigarette from the table and took a long-ish drag out of it, before pulling it back and letting the smoke out. "I didn't realise they'd have to do the whole, you know, tucking crop circle." Brooke explained, moving her fingers around her ears in small circles. Mel just let more smoke out of her mouth, letting it go around the room.

"So everything's okay, then?" Mel summed up, as Brooke looked really upset. "Yeah." Brooke replied, sniffling a little bit. "Sorry." Brooke apologised again. "It's okay." Mel reassured her, taking her head and giving it a little comfort squeeze. "Excuse me." Brooke said, taking a small mirror and looked at her self on it. "Oh, god. I'm a mess." She stated, looking at her ears.

"Oh dear, can I get you a beer?" Brooke asked, getting off the couch slowly so she didn't fall. "No, that's okay. We're going to split." Mel told her, as Tracy came to stand with her mother in the house. "So Evie, we'll bring your suitcase over later." Mel told Evie, as she walked over to join her daughter. "So, you're not gonna adopt me, Mel?" Evie asked, tears threatening to spill out of her eyes. "Evie, I mean, Brooke's back, so." Tracy trialed off, as she nodded her head to where Brooke was.

Evie just looked at Mel, looking back at Tracy before quickly away and out of the room. Java ran after her, knowing she needed some one to comfort her. Tracy just followed after them, seeing her two friends run off. Evie just chucked her stuff in her room, then walked out of the sliding door that went into the back yard. Evie just leaned up against an old fridge, as Tracy reopened a wood fence that had closed. Jada just wrapped her arms around Evie, trying to comfort her in any way.

Tracy just stood near the gate, looking shocked to see Evie cry as she didn't know what to do. Evie just turned to look at Tracy, letting her tears come out as Jada pulled her closer, trying ti hug her more than she already was. "It's okay, it's okay, you can always stay at mine." Java whispered in Evie's ear, trying to calm her down. "It's okay, it's okay." Java told her, as she started ti leave kissed in Evie!s head, trying to soothe her. Seeing this, Tracy slowly backed up and walked out of the little area, leaving the girls alone as she knew Jada was only trying to comfort Evie.
