The Wayfinder pirates observe from their hiding spots, eagerly awaiting for the opportunity to ambush the Marines who dare to threaten the sanctity of the home of Bellemere and her family.

"You and me both." Ula growls, low and gruff, fighting to keep her inner beast from running rampant before the time is right. Because she will be spilling blood if they're about to do what she thinks they're going to do.

"Glad Adellah decided to wander. Gems already have enough problems with the Marines and the World Government. And to be aware that there is one this far from the Grand Line will bring a great amount of unwanted attention. Who knows how old she really is, but she's obviously still naive to the reality of the world and its cruelties."

She goes back to watching the interaction.

"Are you the pirate thief known as Nami?" Marine Captain Nezumi inquires with a disgusting smirk.

Nami's so frozen with fear she doesn't even have the energy to respond.

"The Marine's sources have revealed...that you have quite a large sum of treasure that you've stolen from pirates. The Government hereby confiscates all said property. It is required that you comply immediately."

Nami, Bellemere and Genzo grit their teeth at the Marine's shameless demands.

The girl's unresponsiveness soon becomes irritating to the rat in Marine's clothing, but his sneering smirk doesn't fall.

"Chichichi...Sorry...Uh, perhaps you didn't hear me the first time. The Government hereby confiscates everything you've stolen. It is required that you comply immediately. Do you understand?"

Nami's fearful stock-still soon melts away into a sly smirk.

"Hmph. Isn't that something...I can see you're very passionate about your duties. You won't bring a brutal gang of pirates to justice, but you will shake down a lowly sneak thief. That's so very noble."

She remarks, sarcastically.

Ula and her Pack smirk at the truthful jabs thrown at the Marine.

But still, the Marine Captain keeps up his smirk, chuckling mouse-ily.

"I'm only gonna warn you once...I'm one of the leaders of the Arlong Pirates. If you mess with me, Arlong won't sit by quietly."

Captain Nezumi's smirk broadens, almost knowingly.

"Chichichi...Silly girl. Who do you think I am? Do you honestly think you can intimidate me? FIND THE STOLEN GOODS!"

He orders his men with a crazed look in his eyes.

The foot soldiers obey without question, sharing their superior officer's greedy smirk as they stalk past Nami to begin their unsanctioned search.

"Don't move!" Nami snaps to no avail. The Marines don't even pause to heed her words, proceeding to unlawfully rip up the orchard.

Trigger inquiry of any further action dies in his mouth when he finds that his captain is no longer among them. The only sign of her presence was a set of five deep lines that look suspiciously like claw marks carved into the wood of the house's exterior.
