Having left Baratie behind, it's been nothing but smooth sailing on Ocean's Compass.

Sanji and Yosaku relax on some lounge chairs Ula keeps in storage for such occasions of peace.

Trigger is at the helm, guiding the ship towards its destination.

Richie brings out a table for the meal that's most definitely going to be asked for as soon as Luffy wakes up from his precarious napping on the bowsprit[1].

Ula thought having a meal al fresco[2] on the main deck would help everyone stay relaxed a bit longer before readying for the fight that's equally sure to happen.

Meanwhile, said captain of the ship is giving her newest crewmember the tour of the brigantine's functions and utilities.

"So, we have the Captain's Quarters which is where you'll often find me if I'm not out on the main decks or in the kitchen. Then we have the two Sleeping Quarters, one for Women and one for Men, which is where you'll be bunking, along with a few members of the Pack. If you haven't already guessed, you're the first non-animal member of my crew."

She throws open the door to the Men's Quarters, revealing curtained bunk beds and the attached bathroom.

"Definitely beats the hammocks on the Dreadnaught Sabre. And it smells better, too." Ghin awes at the space that's currently all to himself.

"Let me know if you have any preferences on how to decorate the bunk you choose."

Ghin eyes the enclosed bunks, debating his now free choice.

"Um, permission to speak freely, Captain?"

"You've always got permission to speak freely, Ghin. You're now the Quartermaster of the Wayfinder Pirates. It's one of your newfound responsibilities to help keep everything on course when I'm out of line or not around." Ula eases the worries of the tense ex-Krieg pirate.

"If you're animals came before me why weren't any of them made first mate or quartermaster?" He inquires.

"Well, actually my Macaws, Ahio and Carme, share the position of first mate for a specific branch of the Wayfinder Crew called the Pack Division." Ula explains. "While each having a foot in the animal world, they also have a unique set of skills that benefit the crew as a whole."

"I see."

Ghin nods, slowly starting to understand the unique inner workings of his new crew.

"Then we have the Infirmary, the Laundry Room, our Recreation Room that also used to hold crew meeting's outside of the Dining Room. There is also the Cannon Deck below the Main Decks, below that Cargo Hold and the Brig below that. And of course, the Kitchen and Pantry."

She finishes the tour.

"As Quartermaster, you're Second-in-Command and are to help deal with or dish out any offenses or and punishments, respectively. In the events of any looting expeditions, a portion is always set aside for crew-wide expenses (i.e. food, supplies, ship repairs and maintenance, medical costs) before the remainders are divvied up amongst the rest of the crew. Bonuses can also be rewarded to specified crewmembers should they accomplish significant/impactful deeds. You're also in charge of supply management. Keeping track of any food or supplies that need restocking." Ula finishes up the tour as they emerge onto the main deck, walking over to join the rest of the boys at the set-up table.

"Understood, Captain. I won't let you or the crew down."

Ula smiles encouragingly.

"I know this is all new to you, Ghin. We're a crew that looks out for one another, here. So don't be afraid to ask for an assist."
