the jail was damp and cold much like the once back at Saint Valdamirs but this one was larger , i guess they have more criminals at court than they have at a high school. Dimitri was slumped in the corner of his cell when he saw me his eyes ,that were red probably from hidden tears , lit up like a child's on there birthday. "Roza !" he said his voice was full of despiration and sadness "Did you do it ?" i asked sternly, i wanted so bad to touch him but i wasn't going to i was going to be firm and not melt at him calling me by the nickname i love.

"no , i didn't , i would never." he said softly in that amazing accent

"i didn't think so." i said "do u know who would frame you ?"

"i have no clue , Roza! but before they kill i wanted to tell you i still love you."

"then why have you been so horrible to me! " i shouted

"because i knew i would only bring trouble upon you , and look where i am , i was right"

"no you weren't , you are more wrong than ever , i will help you by finding out who really killed the queen but you must leave after. "

"why?" he asked ever so sadly

"because i want to be with Adrian and you - you just get in the way." i said angrily , it hurt to say those words but it needed to be done.

"i cant lose you Roza i love you." he said while trying to reach out to me but i backed away. I need to say something that would make him hate me and then an idea popped into my head

"i slept with adrian." i said sternly , his brown eyes turned hard and cold.

"you can leave now." he said i could tell he wanted to break something or destroy something he was livid but yet he looked calm on the outside just as he always had.

"i will find out who did this and after , maybe you should go home , you mother and sisters miss you." i said and turned to walk up the stairs. i wanted to cry and beg him to still love me but that was wrong to do because i now loved another. i had broken Dimitri's heart, well now he knows how it feels.
