Chapter 17

Lauren sighed as she laid on the bed in Camila's hotel room. She waited as the beautiful brunette finished getting ready. Though Lauren's heart was breaking as she saw how beautiful she looked through the mirror, she was content with knowing that Camila was happy. If Camila had a smile on her face, Lauren was doing something right.

Half an hour later, Camila walked out of the bathroom that she had been occupying, and spun around in a circle for Lauren. Lauren's mouth dropped open at the sight of the breathtaking brunette.

Camila had on a short, strapless red dress with tall black heels that made her legs look long and tan. Her hair was curled loosely, and flowed down her shoulders and back. Camila's makeup was simple but done to perfection,and made Lauren's heart swell because of her beauty.

God, she's beautiful. Was all that Lauren could think. Lauren felt jealous; she wish that Camila had looked like this for her. She wished she could tell Camila how much she loves her, and how beautiful she thought she was. She wished she could kiss her, and spoil her, and tell her that she meant the world to her.

"Are you going to tell me how I look, or are you just going to stare at me?" Camila teased with a grin on her face. Lauren didn't say anything; Camila had actually taken her breath away. "Okay, then. Just stare at me," Camila joked.

"You look..." Lauren started, but couldn't find the right words to say. There was no way to explain how beautiful she looked. She looked like the art in a museum, like the bills in a safe, like a goddess. If Lauren could only see one thing for the rest of her life, she would choose to look at Camila at this very moment.

"Wow, thanks," Camila blushed, and walked back into the bathroom to put in her earrings.

Without thinking, Lauren got up from her spot on the bed, and followed the Cuban girl. Camila didn't acknowledge Lauren's presence, but instead, attempted to put the shining diamonds in her ear. With a bit of a struggle, she succeeded, and sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror.

"Do you think he'll like what I'm wearing?" Camila thought aloud, not expecting a response from the other girl. She straightened out her dress with her hands, and ran her eyes down her body. Lauren appeared behind her, and wrapped her arms around Camila's waist from behind her. Camila took a deep breath, and placed her hands on top of Lauren's in which crossed together on top of the younger girl's flat stomach.

"He better like what you're wearing. I don't think he realizes how lucky he is to have you," Lauren mumbled. Camila bit her bottom lip in uncertainty, and Lauren caught on to the gesture.

"You.." Lauren started, and left a kiss on Camila's uncovered shoulder. "Look.." She continued, and kissed the younger girl's neck. "Beautiful," she finalized, before turning Camila around by her waist, and connecting their lips in a short, yet meaningful kiss. "And if he doesn't see that, you deserve so much better," Lauren said sincerely. They stayed silent for a moment, enjoying the comfortable silence that had fallen between the two of them.

"Lauren, when you got here, you seemed like you wanted to tell me something," Camila mumbled, staring at Lauren's luscious lips. "Do you want to tell me now?"

"Right now isn't the time, baby," Lauren mumbled, looking adoringly at the girl in her arms. Camila smiled at Lauren, and wrapped her arms around her neck, bringing her even closer. The brown eyed girl leaned in, and kissed the green eyed girl as softly as she could, not wanting anything more than to be happy, and to make Lauren happy.

"I love it when you call me baby," Camila said happily, her lips ghosting over Lauren's, and a smile forming on her face. Both of their eyes were closed, and they were content with being close to each other. Lauren tightened her grip on Camila's hips, and brought them closer together again. Camila rested her head on Lauren's shoulder, her breath ticking Lauren's neck as she breathed slowly.
