"Lauren! You better not!" Camila laughed, backing away from the older girl.

Lauren smirked, and followed close to her. "What are you going to do about it?" She challenged. Her green eyes ran up and down the tan body of her band mate.

"If I go in, you're going down with me." Camila said seriously. Her eyes widened as she realized Lauren had cornered her, and she was now pressed against the black gate of the pool area. They had made sure it was locked and no one was around before coming down to swim together.

"Considering I'm bigger than you, I highly doubt that'll happen, love." Lauren mocked, finally getting rid of the gap between their bodies. Camila's hands instinctively moved to Lauren's bikini clad hips, and pulled her in closer. Lauren's arms were on either side of Camila's head, resting against the wall, and their faces were just inches apart. Camila's heart rate picked up, and her breathing was unsteady; which didn't go unnoticed by Lauren.

"Nervous?" She teased. Camila blushed, and looked at the ground.

Knowing that Lauren got her right where she needed her, she wrapped her arms around Camila's waist, and picked her up off the ground. Camila squealed, but nonetheless, wrapped her legs around Lauren's waist.

"You're such an asshole!" Camila yelled as Lauren moved closer and closer to the pool.

The green eyed girl carried a flailing Camila to the pool edge, and then jumped in the heated water with her limbs still connected with Camila's. The younger girl took in a deep breath of air before they hit the water, and giggled as she was submerged into the warmth. She attempted to swim away from the other girl, but failed as Lauren pulled her hips back into her. Camila's head shot out of the water, and she filled her lungs with air as she resurfaced. She immediately bursted into a laughing fit as she turned around to face Lauren. The green eyed girl had a shy smile on her face, and the water was slowly dripping down from her eyelashes.

"I told you that I'd bring you down with me," Camila reminded the other wet girl. Camila swore that Lauren looked down at her lips multiple times before responding.

"I'll always go down with you," Lauren said sincerely. Camila opened her mouth to respond, but was cut off. "I'll go up, down, in, out, anywhere as long as it's with you," she smiled. Camila didn't know what to say; she was shocked, confused, and wanted to cry because of how cute Lauren was.

Lauren wanted to say it. She wanted to tell Camila how much she loved her, how she adored everything about her. But she couldn't find the guts in her to say it.

So they stood there. In the middle of the pool, with their arms wrapped around each other. Their eyes were locked, and the intensity and power of this moment were above anything else either girl had ever experienced. This was what it felt like to be in love. They both felt untouchable, and on top of the world.

Camila finally decided to break the silence with a bold question.

"What are we, Lauren?" Her voice was low and raspy, and her lips brushed gently against Lauren's with every word that was spoken due to their close proximity. She knew it was risky, and was unsure of how Lauren would react, but it just slipped out.

"That's a good question, isn't it," Lauren pondered. She didn't know how else to answer it.

"That's why I asked," Camila responded quietly. She wrapped her arms around Lauren's neck, and rested their foreheads against each other. Lauren took a deep breath, and sighed loudly.

"What's on your mind, Laur?" The younger girl questioned, wanting to be as close to her as possible. She stoked the long, black hair with her gentle fingers. "Talk to me, baby."
