Fred's POV

I woke up extra early, and was extra careful not to wake George and Lee as I got ready to go to the library to meet up with Mila.

I was nervous. In fact, I was shaking. With Mila, everything was kinda unpredictable. One moment she would be ignoring you, the next she'd be laying her head on your shoulder. I hoped for the best as I put my robes on and walked clear over to the library. The school was giant, so I started getting there several minutes before hand.

When I entered the library, she was already there for me. There were probably five other kids in the library studying or something, but they were too focused to care about us at all. In fact, one of the students in there was Hermione, and nothing ever stopped her from studying.

"I'm here," I said. Her face immediately turned red.

From anger or blushing, I wasn't sure.

"Fred," She started, but couldn't continue. She stumbled over her words.

"What is it?"

"Fred, I-" She still couldn't speak.

I just waited patiently. Whether she was about to yell at me or something else, I was ready for it.

"Fred, I really like-"

It finally hit me. She was telling me that she liked me back. Mila Lockhart was confessing her feelings to me! Fred Giddeon Weasley!

"I really like hanging out with you." She said. Her head dropped to her feet as if she were disapointed in my reaction. My reaction that was my smile dropping. I felt so bad, but I couldn't fake a smile.

"I like hanging out with you too," I mumbled. "I'm sure you know that though,"

"I do," She giggled. "I guess that's all I wanted to say."

"I'll see you around, Lockhart." I sighed, and left the library. I wandered the school to collect my thoughts until breakfast where I met up with George. He wondered where I was that morning, and I just told him I was on a walk. He didn't ask any more questions, and I sat there as George flirted with Alicia all of breakfast as I watched where Mila normally sat, but wasn't there. Neither was Blaise.

Mila's POV

After Fred left, I stood there numbly for a while before leaving.

Why was it so hard for me to just say a few words? He liked me back, it should be easy! But when you're Mila Anne Lockhart you don't know how to be open with emotions and feelings. You let those get caged up deep down in your heart as if it was being held hostage.

I ran out of the library after a while, and went back to my common room dorm to cry into my pillow the rest of the morning. Thankfully the rest of my roomates had left for breakfast.

Knock Knock

I quickly wiped my tears and checked the mirror to make sure I didn't show any signs of crying. Thankfully my mascera hadn't smeared. "Who is it?" I asked in my normal harsh tone.

"It's Blaise."

I went over to open the door. Mainly I was just confused on how he got up to my dorm, the stairs up to the girl's dorm always turned into a slide when boys tried to get up them. Someone put a charm on them or something.

"I never heard what happened last night." He said. "I was worried when you still weren't back at midnight."

"Why were you still up at midnight?" I asked him. He took a minute to respond. He was acting a lot different than normal.
