Mila's POV

"What are everyone's plans for when we graduate?" Alica asked excitingly. Alicia, George, Pansy, Draco, Blaise, Fred and I were all sitting in the garden enjoying the treats we had got from Honeyduke's.

"I'm traveling to Paris." Pansy said excitedly. "I'll at least be living there a month, if I don't like it, I'll move in with my cousin back in London,"

"Alicia," George started. Fred's smile widened, and I could tell he knew something the rest of us didn't. George stood up, pulling Alicia up to stand beside him. He got down on a knee, and all of us started making noises of excitement. "My future plans are with you," He smiled. Tears were pouring down her face, and she dove into his arms, causing him to fall down from his knees. She took the ring from his hand, and put it on her own finger. "I'm going to take that as a yes," George laughed, and the two kissed.

"What about everyone else?" George asked with the widest smile on his face.

"I'm not really sure," Blaise sighed.

"Blaise, you should help George and I with our joke shop!" Fred offered. Blaise didn't even hesitate to accept. "Mila, you should too! Honestly, all of you should!"

Draco and I's smiles dropped.

"I already got... hired for a job." Draco said, but he didn't seem excited about it.

"Mila?" Fred asked, hope filling his eyes.

"I'm going to move to America. Become an author." I sighed. It was my dream, but now that my dream didn't involve my friends, I was less excited about it. But I had already found a place, and there was no backing out.

Fred's head dropped.

"I'm happy for you," He said, quietly.

(later)

I sat on my bed in my dorm room, taking in everything that would soon not be a part of my everyday life. Pansy was taking down her posters quietly, and my other roommates were out- likely snogging other students.

"I'm sorry," Pansy said out of nowhere.

"For what?"

"I've kinda been a brat."

A little, I thought. But I had gotten used to it.

"It's fine. Didn't really bother me." I sighed. It became silent again, and I felt bad. "What do you plan to do if you stay in Paris?" I then asked.

"I wanted to get into designing of some sort. Don't know if I'll make it to that point though."

"I'm sure you could. Dreams are hard to reach sometimes, but anything is possible." I told her, and she smiled to herself.

"And you want to be an author?" She asked me in return.

I never liked to think of myself as an author. Sure, I wanted to be one more than anything else, but it was cliche and stupid. Everyone knew my father. And after what happened in my third year, none of the knowledge anyone had on him was any good.

"Yeah." I told her, deep in my thoughts. Was America really where I wanted to be? Yeah, I guess. It was known as the free country. Things would be great there, right? I'd make new friends.

But that was the problem. Did I even want to make new friends? I liked the ones I had.

"Good luck with that. I'm sure you'll be successful. More than your father even dreams of being."

I smiled. "Thank you, Pansy."

I left the dorm room, and decided I would go visit the astronomy tower once more.
