True Fear

You woke up sore and in pain. Your head throbbed and your body ached. You didn't know what happened or where you were now.

As you started to wake up groggily. You could feel yourself sweating, as the room was extremely hot. You didn't know how or why, yet. When you tried to open your eyes, you couldn't. You realize that you've been blindfolded.

You groaned trying to move your hands but they were tied behind the chair you were sitting on. You felt like dying would be better than this pain. You tried to think of something, anything to get out of this situation. But it hurt your head to even think.

You tried to remember what happened, but it was all a messy blur. A couple purple smudges and a familiar scarred face.

You had never experienced pain like this before, and you hoped to never feel it again. You tried to maneuver your hands out of the bindings around your wrists, groaning in pain as the rope painfully rubbed against your skin.

"Stop squirming." You heard a familiar voice coming from in front of you. But you didn't know where you recognized it from.

You jumped, you didn't expect anyone to be here with you. You felt true fear run up your spine. Then you felt a familiar pit in your stomach.

"W- who are you?" You asked nervously. The person could probably tell you were terrified from your voice.

"That doesn't concern you just yet. You are just a pawn in my game, a pawn doesn't need to know the king."

"Are you stupid? Kings in chess are the weakest damn things." You replied without thinking.

You heard silence. "...Ok you got me there. You don't need to know my name, okay?"

"Ugh, what am I here for?"

"Now, why should I tell you my plan?"

"Because I'm probably gonna die and it won't matter?"

"Okay," You heard the voice get closer, followed with footsteps. "Quackity did something horrible to something I loved, and I have always believed in an eye for an eye..."

"Oh please, you think Quackity loves me? You are kind of a stupid villain, you know."

"I have been watching for a while, studying, working, thinking. I know how Quackity acts, I know how he thinks. And I know for a fact that he will play right into my trap."

"And what is this so called trap of yours...?" You asked.

You felt a hand on your face suddenly, pulling the blindfold off of you. When you opened your eyes you were met with a face you have seen not too long ago.

     Purpled.

He spoke in a whisper only you two could hear.

     "You."

Quackity POV

Yesterday Y/n and I went to the vet to get the chip out of Pixie. Now, I was waiting patiently outside of the vet for them. They were 5 minutes late, which is nothing like them at all. They were always on time.

I was not a patient person most of the time, but I would wait for them. However, if they wouldn't get here in 5 more minutes I would have to get Pixie myself and figure out why they're late.

I waited 10 more minutes for Y/n and they never showed. I had to get Pixie, alone. I really thought they would want to pick up their own dog? But maybe they were tired.

I got Pixie quickly and started to make my way towards their apartment. Pixie followed intently, even though she shouldn't like me. I mean, I put a damn chip in her side.

"I'm sorry about all that." I said to her, even though she couldn't say anything or understand me, I thought it was the right thing. I saw the people I walked by looking at me like I was crazy.

It didn't take long to get there. I took the elevator silently with the dog at my side. She was oddly quiet.

I heard the ding of the elevator reach the right floor and walked out. When I got to their room I knocked and called for them. "Hello? Y/n! You in there?"

I waited and waited. I heard nothing from inside the house. No noises, no movement. Maybe they were still asleep? I knocked again, harder. And called a little louder. "Y/n?"

Still no noises. Now I was starting to get worried. I didn't want to barge into their house and privacy, but I needed to know if they were okay.

"Y/n? Can I come in?"

I put my ear to the door to hear something, anything. Nothing. I reached out my hand to open the door, and it was open. They always locked their doors, why was this unlocked?

I opened the door to find the house looking messy, much messier than normal. Almost ransacked. But looks like no precious items were taken. I looked around the house, for anything that could tell me they were okay or anywhere in the house.

When I looked on the wall across from the door, I saw a note.

'Dearest Quackity,

If you are reading this, you are to be informed that your beloved Y/n has been taken. Please come with a sum of money to the coordinates written on the back and maybe I won't hurt them too badly.

As I say, an eye for an eye.

There was a picture of Y/n on the side. It showed a picture of them on the ground with dark blood dripping down their forehead. I could only assume he hurt them.

Fear shot through my body. I felt true fear for the first time in a while. My hands shook as I held the yellow paper previously taped to the wall. I felt anger and fear all in one big mosh pit of emotions. It was all so confused, but I knew one thing. I had to get them back.

I turned around to be met with Pixie sitting on the ground, staring at me curiously.

I kneeled down to her level, almost like she was a toddler.

"I will be back with them, I promise." I whispered. Maybe it was stupid to make a promise to a dog, but she felt almost human. If only she could understand me. "Ugh what am I thinking? You don't know what I'm saying, you probably don't even care either. Go lay down or something, I'll be back."

I heard her whine as I got up from my knees and walked away.

And with that, I left the house, the elevator, then the building.

I normally made someone else do everything for me. Like how I made Charlie spy on Y/n so I didn't have to. Like how I made Tubbo and others execute Technoblade with me so it wasn't just me. And now how Y/n got the punishment for my wrongdoings. But now, I will do it by myself, and I won't make my problems someone else's anymore. I would get Y/n back safely, if it was the last thing I would do. Either way, I wouldn't mind.

So I walked. Then I ran. Then faster, and faster. I felt the wind blowing past my face and through my hair. I hope that Y/n would be able to feel the same thing, too.
