It took a while to pry yourself away from Quackity's grasp. But Eventually you were able to get a hold of the bandages and patch up his hands.

"Why didn't you think that through?" You asked, referring to Quackity not protecting his hands.

"I don't know, I didn't think he would have a whole lava pit!" He rolled his eyes.

"Fair," You replied, taking a firm hold on his left hand and starting to wrap it in bandages. Quackity twitched at the sudden touch. "Hey, it's alright. This won't hurt at all." You reassured.

"Sorry," He answered. "It's just.. I don't think anyone has held my hand for a long time." His voice shaking.

"Oh. I- I'm sorry. I can stop if you want-"

"No!" He cleared his throat, trying to shrug off how demanding he was just then. "No, it's fine."

You looked up at his face and saw a slight redness coating his cheeks. A smile creeped onto your face.

     "Are you blushing?" You giggled.

"No!" Quackity turned his face away from yours and covered his mouth with his free hand.

"Aw, it's alright, Q. You can be nervous." You teased. This was one of the rare occasions where you could tease Quackity without consequences, and you took advantage of that.

He seemed almost vulnerable after you saw him crying. But you didn't mind. If anything you preferred this side of him. He was softer. Contradictory to the personality he presented first. You liked it.

Wordlessly you continued patching up both of his hands. It took only 5-10 minutes now that you could focus.

"You're all done, Q. Where would you be without me?" You laughed.

He rolled his eyes with a smile. "Thank you." He got up from his seat and spoke again. "I'm gonna head back to the casino, care to join me?"

You smiled. "Sure. I need to catch up with Charlie anyways."

You called Pixie and you three left the apartment and headed towards the casino.

Eventually you, Quackity, and Pixie reached the casino and headed in. Opening the large doors, you hoped Charlie was there. You wanted to tell him everything about what happened. When you walked in you immediately started scanning the large crowds for a bright green goopy guy. You saw he was serving people at the bar. Rushing past Quackity, you sped towards the bar, but slow enough to not make a scene. Quackity sighed as you ran past.

"Charlie!" You spoke as you took an empty seat at the bar.

"Y/n!" He answered excitedly. "Where have you been?"

"Oh you know, around." You replied. You didn't want to tell Charlie about your death in the public.

     "No, I don't know, Y/n. That's why I asked."

You leaned towards him to whisper. "A lot of shit happened that I can't say in public."

Charlie's face turned to shock. "Oh!" He smiled. "Well then let's go somewhere else! I need to take my break anyways." He put some cups down and started to walk towards the room in the back for workers only. You and Pixie followed intently.
