{Panic Attack}

Panic Attack: A sudden episode of intense fear or anxiety and physical symptoms based on a perceived threat rather than imminent danger. That's how Shadow could describe Sonic right now at the state he was in... Intense Fear.

Shadow's P.O.V.
I couldn't believe my eyes of what I was just witnessing at the moment; Sonic was on the floor, hyperventilating while gripping onto his chest. I didn't know what to do at that moment, we were far away from everyone else and I feel like he wanted to be far from them with this episode "I'll go grab someone to help you with-" As soon as I was going to walk away I felt a hand grip on mine, I looked back and it was Sonic. He had tears in his eyes like he was begging and pleading me not to tell anyone about this. "DON'T!.... D-Don't please I... I can't breathe...!" Sonic exclaimed as he let go of me to put his hands on his neck, I sensed him squeeze his neck and with a swift instinct.. I grabbed his wrists and placed them down on his lap. "Don't do that... Take a deep breath, hold it in for 4 seconds, and breathe out. I'm right here, Faker." I explained to him, and for the first time, he did as he was told and took deep breaths. I sensed his heartbeat slowly going down as I let go of his wrists. He motioned to his bag as I grabbed it and looked inside.. Anxiety depressants, I went to a small corner store that was close to buy some water. I came back in an instant and helped him take his pills. When he did, all he could do was sit up and look up at the sky, I felt like if I left this asshole he would have another episode, so I sat with him. It took him about 15 minutes before he spoke to me. "Thank you... You shouldn't have seen me like this. No one should see me like this..." He puts his hand on his head like he had a small migraine, I didn't look his way but looked up at the sky quietly. "It's a shitty move to not tell anyone faker, one day you might not have anything to supress that and you'll do something you'll deeply regret" I responded, I felt his gaze but didn't acknowledge it as we just sat there for as long as we needed to.

It was 30 minutes later as we both stood up from our spots, we were going the same way anyway, so we decided to walk there together. This was not how I wanted the night to go, but things change depending on what you get into. It was a silent walk, but as I gazed over at Sonic, he looked like he had no emotions at all. . . His face was a blank, probably from the depressants, so i shouldn't give him a hard time for now after what had happened. As soon as we got back to the spot, almost everyone was gone. The only people who were there were Tails, Rouge, Knuckles, and Amy. I was about to walk in when suddenly Sonic grabbed my hand softly which stopped me in my tracks, I looked at him and all he could do was shake his head but he spoke; "Not yet. . . I want to get myself together first if that's fine." I scoffed quietly but let him get himself together like he wanted. He already had enough punishment for one night, so I let it slide by. After a few minutes we walked in and they were worried about us, I was about to say something but Sonic explained the whole situation in his words, but left out the part where he had an anxiety attack. . . He really got himself together in under a few minutes because when he was talking to them, he sounded like how he always been, an annoying but always confident tone. After a while, one by one, everyone left. The last ones to go were Sonic and I as he wanted to talk to me about something, maybe about what just happened when he had a panic attack. "Hey, can we not... tell anyone about this or forget that ever happened?" Sonic exclaimed, he couldn't even look at me when he asked me that, I leaned against the wall and just looked at him with a slight tilt to the side. "Like I said before, it's not my place to tell but it's also a shitty move to not tell anyone at all. But I'll pretend that nothing happened, like I wasn't even there" I said as I picked up my bag and left out of the restaurant, leaving Sonic alone. . . I looked back to see him trying to get himself together so he can go home, I didn't want to bother him any more as he wanted to forget what happened so I just ran back home, he can handle himself.

Sonic's P.O.V.
I didn't get back home until 2 in the morning, as I walked in the house and shut the door my whole body dropped to the floor. . . Tonight actually happened, Shadow saw what I had been going through, no one was supposed to know. I was sweating like crazy because in my head I was listing all the possibilities of how it will come out, Shadow would tell Rouge than Rouge will tell Amy, Amy will Tails and Tails would tell Knuckles. . . Fuck! I sat on the floor taking deep breaths, it took me almost 10 minutes to actually stand up and recollect myself and since I already took my medicine I would be fine for a couple hours. I put the leftovers in the fridge and cleaned up anything I left out, the house was a mess considering I don't be in here as much, I started with the kitchen, than the living room all the way up to my room jeez my house was a giant mess. When I got done I just laid in my bed groaning tiredly, it really has been a hard day but what else is new? I jolted as i heard my phone ring, it was Tails. . Did i really feel like picking up after today? He is my best friend so I did; "Hey Sonic, are you doing okay? I know tonight was a lot so i wanted to check in" Tails said, I can tell he was tinkering in his garage, I sat up and held the phone close to me while on speaker; "Yeah im okay buddy, the press just. . Startled me, yeah they startled me while we were at the dinner and I had to run out before things got bad" I cant believe I lied to my best friend, I know he means well but I feel like he shouldn't know because he will always be there, I can handle it on my own. "Okay, I just wanted to see how you are before you go to bed. I was going to stay up more working on my machine and I thought to call you." I smiled at Tail's response, I know he'd be here in a heartbeat if i needed him. . I'll tell him whenever I get the chance to, just not right now. "Heh, thanks buddy. I'll let you know if Im coming over, I mean i still have your spare keys" He and i laughed and I started to feel better talking to him, I kept talking to Tails until he had to finish working and as I hung up I took a small deep breath. . Huh, talking to him felt good and it even calmed my nerves, I decided to sleep the anxiety off so I can be alright for the next few hours.

A couple weeks passed by as things were discrete and quiet which was good but also weird and suspicious, I was out getting groceries since it was a sale today at the market. I had a lolipop in my mouth while holding my grocery tote full of ingredients I'll need for my chili dog, It was kind of cold but the weather is always trippy when its close to winter. I arrived at my house and was pulling out my key than my ears perked up at a sound of a camera, I turned my head to where the sound was coming from. . . A camera man was hiding behind the bushes right across from my house. . . I quickly got in the house slamming the door behind me, I leaned against it while breathing a bit quickly. "I had to call somebody, somebody but who. . . Tails? No I don't wanna bother him. . Knuckles? No, Amy? No dammit cause they know where she lives what am I. ." i paused my rant and immediately called Rouge, please pick up, please pick up, please pick up; "Hey Blue, what's u-" I cut her off before she could ask how I was; "Rouge, there is someone across from my house who took a picture of me. . I think it's a camera man for the news, n-no time to go into any details but can you please give me the address to where Shadow lives? I know no news network knows where he lives and I need somewhere to stay" I was rambling a lot but im glad Rouge was listening to everything I had to say without question; "Of course hun, make sure to eat before you rush over because it's sort of a long run okay? Be safe Blue" I nodded and hung up, immediately I started getting some stuff together, small things at the very least then ate something small. I waited until nightfall to actually leave cause you never know if the guy is still out there, I was in a tree that was near my home and before going to Shadow's something caught my eye; A whole mass of reporters and news people coming to my house. . Shit, I gotta leave fast, I ran as fast as i could and could hear all the commotion from the people at my house, I tried to focus as I was running and while I was it started to rain hard but it didnt matter I just followed the Gps to Shadow's house. As i arrived I was soaked as hell right in front of his apartment door, I dont know how its going to go down but It's worth a shot, I knocked on his door and waited for about 2 minutes until I heard the door open, Shadow looked like he just got out of the shower as a small towel was wrapped around his neck; "What are you doing here? And how did you get my address faker?" He said while drying himself off. Guess i have to ask now before he slams the door in my face.

"Yeah so long story short, a bunch of news reporters and camera men are swatting my house and it isnt safe there, is it okay if I stay here for the night?"
