{Sacrifice}

Right under our noses, Eggman unleashed another attack but this time it was more reckless than the one a couple months ago. Sonic went out to deal with him on his own, but it was a trap as Eggman took almost all of Sonic's energy. . .

Shadow's P.O.V.
I was too late to make it to the chamber Sonic was in. . The damage was already done, Eggman laughed as Sonic fell to the floor of the chamber. . "What did you do?. . . What the hell did you do?!" I yelled, Eggman turned to me with his evil smile; "Fool, I didn't kill your precious little boyfriend, I just took 75% of his energy to use for the final phase of my plan" Eggman laughed again as I got angrier and angrier by the second, I ran over to him but he moved the chamber that Sonic was in, infront of me; "Ah ah ah, you wouldnt want me to take the rest of your boyfriend's energy would you? That would kill him for sure" I stepped back as he said that. . Sonic wasn't conscious, I gently put my hand on the chamber glass as I looked at him, when I saw a flinch. . Sonic sat up carefully but lost his balance a bit; "I'm okay Shads. . Im okay" Sonic said softly but grunted as he felt like he was glitching, his fur turned from a radiant blue to a dusty blue and grey shade, he looked so beaten up considering his gloves and shoes. "What do you want? You take the chaos emeralds, steal Sonic's energy and for what? An empire that's just going to fall down again?" I explained, Eggman's face got angry as I said that and he threw the chamber to the side roughly. Sonic yelled in pain as I tried running over to him but Eggman's robots blocked my path; "Nice try, you're gonna have to try harder than that. . Hehe, and it looks like his power is draining on it's own" I looked over at Sonic and noticed his fur getting more grey by the minute. . . Anger spread through my veins, my fur grew darker and darker. . . I wasn't in control anymore. I yelled and started fighting each and every robot, each shattering to pieces.

Eggman's expression went from cocky to scared in a couple seconds, he was typing something on the computer as I slowly walked up to him. I heard something open but didn't think much of it until a red glowing light blocked my way; "Take this!!!" the laser shot and I shut my eyes tightly. . . Only to hear a blood curdling scream, I opened my eyes and the first thing I see was Sonic protecting me, but his leg took the hit of the lazer. He fell onto the ground, my fur turned back to its natural color as I ran to his side, holding his head up while he winces in pain. "Why would you do that? You are weak already why. . .?!" Sonic looked up at me and glitched while grunting; "You needed an a-awakening. . You went dark, I c-couldn't let you turn that way" He said softly, Sonic then passed out from the pain and blood loss as I gently laid him down, standing up afterwards. Tails and the others came in and immediately went to Sonic's side; "Tails, get that tube to transfer Sonic's energy back to him. Im going to finish this. . Once and for all" Tails nodded as he went to another computer to recalibrate the machine. I took a deep breath and unclipped the rings on my wrist, only hearing them fall one after the other; Eggman started backing up as all my energy was surging through my body. "Shadow, you know what happens when you take those things off!! My father created you!" he yelled, I held my hands out while looking at him; "Your evil doing stops here Eggman" I floated off the ground and grabbed Eggman quickly, and shot up in the sky we went as high as we could go until we hit space itself. Eggman started loosing oxygen, i didn't want him to die but he should be imprisoned. I teleported to the old space ark and threw him on the cold solid ground.

"You'll be locked here for years like I have, suffering as much as Sonic did. . . Goodbye Dr.Eggman" I teleported out and came back to the spot i stopped in, I grunted in pain as my energy weakened. . . My powers were draining, my eyes got blurry as I passed out. I fell from the sky rapidly by the minute and felt like i hit the ground, only to come to and felt a pair of arms wrapped around me while also on the destroyed ground with me. I looked up a bit and saw sonic, his fur was radiant again but he was in a lot of pain. . . Tails did it. . . I didn't know what happened after that as i passed out again. . I don't know what happened after that.
