{The L.A.R.P.} Part 1

Around Cream's birthday, her only wish for a birthday party is to have a full town L.A.R.P. It became a tradition every year with different themes, this year it's medieval times mixed with a bit of phantom charms. Will it be a success? Let's find out.

Sonic's P.O.V.
"What is a L.A.R.P.?" Shadow asked, I looked over at Amy with my eyes sparkling and she gave me the nod of approval. I held Shadow's hands quickly while smiling "Okay okay, babe a L.A.R.P stands for Live Action Role-Play, everyone in town cosplays as different people depending on the theme of the L.A.R.P. Last year it was space, you could be the villagers, the bartenders, the king or queen, the monsters, the mysterious aliens who give loot, shopkeepers and more Importantly Cream's righthand person who will be with her the whole journey!" I took a breath after saying that as i said everything in one go, Shadow nodded as Rouge snapped for us to pay attention; "Tails told us that this year it's gonna be medieval themed but with a bit of paranormal like witches, vampires and werewolves, and Cream actually gave us a list on who should be what. You can change it though but you should do it to make her happy." Rouge winks as we both got our papers, we each got to read our backstories and more; "Oh! I got the witch shopkeeper!" Amy exlaimed while jumping around happily; "Withering Mechanic for me" Tails said as he smiled while placing his paper down. Everyone went around telling who their characters; Rouge and Knuckles are the king and queen, Blaze was the fire princess villain, Big will be the merchant. I looked at my paper as everyone was talking; "Oh, im the speedy jester this time. Haha! My jokes will be enviable" I laughed a bit and looked over at Shadow who was still reading.

"What character did you get Shads?" I asked as everyone looked at him as well; "Im. . . Cream's right hand man who has musical powers but is also a vampire. Sorry what does right hand man mean again?" Shadow puts the paper down as he looked at Rouge; "The right hand mostly stays alongside Cream during the whole thing and fights with her to get loot. And before things get bad, not actual fighting. . Just say what your power up is and how much damage you did to the enemies. Sonic was the right hand last time" I nodded as I held Shadow's hand while reading his paper "Ooo you also get big power ups too considering you're immortal" I exclaimed as Shadow gave me a soft smile, as we were gazing at each other Amy clapped her hands; "Alright, we'll all meet here the day before her birthday so we can have everyone in costumes and designated locations!" we all nodded and everyone left individually to go back home. Shadow and I were walking back on our secret path as I was hopping a bit while walking ahead of him; "Im so excited, we get to have our first L.A.R.P. together! It'll be amazing Shads-" I turned to Shadow and noticed that he was upset about something as we walked, when he's upset he would always have his head down, I stopped walking and went over to him to gently hold his hands; "Hey, are you okay? I also noticed that you were also upset at the L.A.R.P. meeting" I said, Shadow looked at me and gave me a soft sigh; ". . I think I'll do bad as the right hand man for Cream during this. . L.A.R.P. Maybe cause I was always a anti hero" Shadow went over to a tree and sat down while holding his head, I sat down next to him and stayed quiet for a bit.

"You know, I was like that too last time I was the right hand. Mostly because I forgot my lines and such heh, but you'll be alright as long as you pretend and have fun with Cream, that's what it's all about" I smiled at Shadow as i stood up and helped him up, we walked home hand in hand on the trail. . . As the days passed it was the day before the L.A.R.P. And everyone was getting fitted for the event.

Shadow's P.O.V.
Rouge was fitting me for my special outfit for the L.A.R.P. And everyone else is getting dressed and trying on their outfits. "Are you excited for the event Shads? It'll be your first L.A.R.P" She asked as she was pinning a piece of the outfit on me, I rolled my eyes a bit as she was still sewing a bit; "I think I'll be just fine, as long as i know what to do and not go into this blind" I said, as Rouge finished we heard some laughing coming from the other room, Rouge finished me up as we went over to see Sonic doing cartwheels and making jokes while in his Jester costume. (Their outfits look exactly like the cover images) "Hey Blue, your boyfriend is all done" Rouge said, as soon as Sonic turned around he blushed like crazy; "Wow. . . You look hot. .- I mean uh-! It looks good, yeah good good" Sonic blushed more which made me chuckle a bit, I held one of his hands and bent forward a bit to kiss it gently, looking up at him while smiling. "Thank you kind jester, you clean up nice too" Sonic pushed me a bit as his response and I smiled, everyone was already in costume as Amy huddled us up in a circle; "Okay everyone, we had a lot of time working on our roles and power ups for Cream's L.A.R.P. Extravaganza! In case something happens, Tails made ear pieces for everybody so we all can come to your location immediately. Everyone got that?" We all nodded at Amy's question as everyone cheered but me, I wasn't upset I just don't cheer, Everyone left one by one and the only ones there were Sonic and I.
