She is moving, my best friend is fucking moving, and she tells me there is nothing I can do against it. I want to cry, I want fucking scream, and the last thing I want is to be left here, miles away from her. There is no chance in hell I am staying here and letting her move; I need her. Mary might have been acting weird, but she is my best friend and means more than anything to me. I sigh, leaning after the book, but instead, I topple over the glass on the table, which results in it breaking, leaving glass splitter all over my floor. I groan to myself, leaning down to pick it up but failing, and a burning pain fills my hand as I notice the splitter cutting my hand.
"Fuck," I groan loudly, sitting down, trying to stop the bleeding.
"Bella? Are you okay? I heard you-" Draco walks into the room, his eyes falling to me on the floor and then to the splitter and my bloody hand.
"Fuck, what happened?" He walks over, leaning down, grabbing my hand.
"I was just being clumsy; it's nothing big." He rolls his eyes, walking to the bathroom before coming out with a wet paper and bandage.
"You are bleeding, and your groan tells me you are in pain." he looks up at me, meeting my gaze, and I suck in my lip before looking down at my hand. Breaking the eye contact.
"How did it even happen, Miss Clumsy?" he smiles a little, and I feel annoyed; why is he smiling? We are cool, but I will never be used to him being nice. It's a weird feeling, and I can't explain how it makes me feel.
"I-I just lost control for a second," he continues to clean the wound, listening to me.
"Why?" I suck in my lip, this time because of the pain.
"That hurts?" I nod slowly.
"I uh- My best friend, Mary..." He meets my eyes,
"Yeah, Alec told me about your uh- fight?" I sigh.
"She told me she is moving... To America," he looks shocked, helping me with the bandage but stays quiet.
"I didn't expect it, and I dont know what to do. Of course, I won't let her move, but she tells me there is nothing to do, and I just can't handle losing her. You shouldn't lose your best friend." He gives me sad eyes, fuck...
"I didn't mean that..." He shrugs.
"It's fine, I deserve it."
"I just dont know what to do." He sighs, letting go of my hand, and I notice how the bandage is perfectly bound around my fist.
"Thank you..." He smiles before sitting down beside me, leaning against the bed.
"So, you had no idea about the move?" I shake my head, staring at the floor; he stays quiet.
"Did you? I assume Mattheo knows and-"
"Bella, I would have told you if I knew. I promise," I nod slowly; for some weird reason, I trust him.
"Why didn't you follow the others out?" He smiles lightly.
"Didn't feel like partying, and I felt bad for you." I roll my eyes.
"That's what every girl wants to hear, that you felt bad for her and stayed home."
"Would it make you feel better if I told you I stayed because of you? Because I wanted to be around you?" I give him a smirk,
"We both know that's not true, Malfoy,"
"Do we, Violet?" His gaze is intensive, almost breaking through my skin and soul.
"I just feel bad, you should go out..." His smile goes up.
"You are dumber than you should be,"
"Grapefruit juice, wasn't it?" He looks shocked, fuck no.
