CHAPTER 12

JENNIE POV

We were chitchatting while watching a movie when Y/N's phone rang. She picked up the call and put it on speaker when she saw it was my mom. "Hey mom!" She said sweetly. "Hey honey, how's everything going there?" Mom asked her. "All good mom. How about you? Why did you called? Do you want anything?" She asked softly and I chuckled quietly. "Yea, actually I want you to join V in the party tonight. He surely had told you about it, I want you to surprise him by going there. You can ask Jennie to bring you there." Mom said and Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. "But mom V-" Mom cut her off "He'll be very happy. You know he came here an hour ago and I asked him to bring you with him but he said that you're not a party person, so I decided to call you by myself. So will you go?" Mom asked again and Y/N's expressions saddened.

"S-Sure mom. I'll g-go. Bye" Y/n said and mom also bid her goodbye before hanging up the call. "What happened?" I asked when I saw her fidgeting with her fingers. "V-V" She stopped and gulped. "H-He told m-me that h-he's going B-Busan for a f-few days because of a-an important m-meeting b-but h-he didn't i-informed me t-that he's back" She said stuttering. Honestly telling, I'm not even surprised. He obviously lied to her, there's no work at Busan.

I held her hand and gave it a comforting squeeze. "Maybe, he wanted to surprise you?" I said and felt sad for lying. She nodded her head and I smiled sadly at her. "Don't think too much Y/n" I said calmly and rubbed her arm comfortingly. "Thank you Jennie, you always makes me feel good" She said and held my hand. "You deserves to be happy Y/n" I said sincerely and squeezed her hand.

Time skip

"Y/n? Hurry up, we'll be late!" I yelled from the living room. "Coming!" She yelled back. I turned around when I heard heels clicking sound from the stairs and saw Y/n coming downstairs. She was wearing a black dress and was looking incredibly sexy and pretty. I was just staring at her with my mouth hung open. "You're drooling Jennie!" Y/n teased as she stood in front of me. I cleared my throat and felt my cheeks warm due to embarrassment.

"You're looking pretty!" I said nervously. "You're also looking fine" She said and smiled. Fuck! V is so lucky that she loves him! I thought. "Let's go?" I asked. She nodded and hooked our arms together. I wish she felt the same for me too. We went out and I opened the passenger door for Y/n. "Thank you! I didn't know that you're a gentlewoman" She said while sitting. "Only for you!" I said and winked. I didn't miss to see the blush on her face. I also sat on my seat and drove to the venue.

We both got inside the party hall and she held my hand tightly when she saw bunch of people dancing drunkly. "It's alright" I said and squeezed her hand. "Let's find V!" She said and I nodded. We started walking while looking around for him. I stopped when I saw a familiar face. "Y/n, let's ask my friend about V. He must know where he is" I suggested and we went towards him while holding hands.

"Hey Mark!" I said loudly to get his attention. "Oh hey Jennie! Long time no see dude! And wait she's must be your girlfriend. She's really hot!" He said pointing at Y/n. "No No! She's just a friend!" I cleared and looked at her face. She had a blank expression on her face. Did I say anything wrong? I questioned myself mentally. "Umm, Mark do you know where V is?" I asked him "Yeah, he's having fun there, near the dance floor!" He said. Having fun? I hope it's not what I am thinking.

We both went there to find him. "Do we have to pass through these sweaty and drunk people?" Y/n asked me making a disgusted face. I chuckled before nodding. "Don't forget that I also met you between these sweaty and drunk people where you were dancing drunkly!" I teased and she rolled her eyes. "Can you please forget about that? We shared so many beautiful moments together and all you could remember is that specific one? I don't even remember how your lips felt against mine!" She said and started walking while dragging me. While me? I was still processing her words. Sometimes she's so bold! I thought and let her drag me.

She got pushed mistakenly by a guy and was about to fall but I held her waist before she could. "Are you alright?" I asked worriedly. "Yes, thanks" She said and stood straight before walking again. We got out of the dance floor and I was about to say something to her but when I looked at her she was standing froze on her place. She had a hurt expression on her face and a tear escaped her eye. I quickly looked at where she was looking and clenched my fist in anger. As I thought, V was making out with someone. Both of them were sucking up each other's faces like hungry beasts.

I was about to go to them but when I saw Y/n rushing outside, I quickly followed her. I know she needs someone to comfort her. I went out and saw her standing right next to my car. I didn't say anything and unlocked the car. We both sat inside and I drove back home. None of us said a single word. As we reached home, she went inside quietly and I followed her up to her room. "Y/n?"

"Fuck me Jennie!"
