It was Tuesday by now and I'm now in 11th grade! It's been two years now, and me and Marlene are closer. And today, I'm stronger. At least I think I am. I headed downstairs once I got ready. I greeted my mom and took my medicine. Then I left for school. On my way I saw a strange man staring at me, just staring at me. I walked faster away from the man and ran into Marlene and walked to school with her. It was quiet that morning. Once we arrived at school, there was a large crowd. Weird. This never happens in school. I was confused, and so was Marlene. Once the bell rang everyone left for class. Leaving me and Marlene to see what happened. There was a missing sign for Elvira, the girl. Our eyes widened. She's missing?! We headed to class soon after. It was odd that she disappeared like that. But it was good because then it meant no more murders in the bathroom. But other than that, it was out of the blue. It happened out of nowhere. I wonder why she disappeared? No, how she disappeared. Once the teacher walked into the classroom, they told us the news of the sudden disappearance of Elvira, also known as 'the girl.' After the teacher told us the news, everyone was left silent. Nobody dared to speak. Not even one word. But It left me curious. Thoughts ran through my head on why and how she disappeared. As the teacher started the new lesson, I turned my head to look at Marlene. She was taking notes, but when I read her expression, she looked..nervous. I understand why she was nervous, so I didn't worry too much. Once my first class ended, I was off with Marlene to my second class. It was an awkward day, to be honest. But I'm not surprised, a student who everyone talked about just disappeared. And out of nowhere too. I finished off the rest of my day at school. The bell rang during my last class, and everyone either stayed after school, or left at home. By now, me and Marlene met up at a certain place after school and walked home. And we met up at that place, when I looked up from a distance at that spot, there Marlene was. She was working on homework for one of her classes, well it's what it looked like. She looked very pretty..And I mean it. I walked towards her. When she noticed me she put her stuff away, quickly. "Have you waited long here? I had some stuff to do for one of my classes." I told her. "Oh, no I didn't! And that's okay! Are you ready to go?" Her voice was cheerful as always. And then, we left. I dropped her off, she turned to look at me and handed me a letter. "Here! F-for you!" She stuttered as she handed me the letter. I couldn't see her face but I knew she was blushing. "Oh, uhm, Thank you Marlene." I took the letter. "You're welcome! H-have a safe walk home" She looked at me with a smile. Cute. I nodded my head and said our goodbyes before I walked off. I smiled as I walked away. Very cute.
