Ireree's fellow Cosmic had undoubtedly seen her unrefined display. Thankfully they hadn't left, so she still had a chance to convince them to dismiss her erratic behavior. But why were they using an avatar form?
While Cosmics did project their presence into worlds through constructed avatars, in the Cosmic Realm those forms were often significantly limited. Doing so was such an uncommon practice that to see another Cosmic doing so before her raised Ireree's suspicions.
"Oh, um. . . Hi."
The trembled response was all Oto could muster before the towering form before them.
"YES, HELLO. MY NAME IS IREREE. NOW COULD YOU PLEASE BE SO KIND AS TO EXPLAIN WHAT YOU ARE DOING HERE?"
Ireree was trying to be welcoming and polite as she addressed Oto. But for the sake of starting a relationship with Nicki, she had to wrap this up fast. Unfortunately the fervent aura she was projecting was much more than Oto could handle.
Oto may have been frightented but this 'Ireree' seemed to be a reasonable creature, so they had to push forward. Maybe she'd understand that they'd only come here by accident and let them leave.
"U-u-um. . . I-I'm not sure, actually. . . I just woke up over there. . . Somewhere. . . Then I was rushed over here. I didn't mean to disturbed you."
"AH, SO YOU'RE A NEW COSMIC THEN?"
"A-a what?"
As Oto asked the question, the answer just popped into their head. The Cosmics: a race of godlike entities with the power to manipulate and reshape reality.
"WELL I SUPPOSE IT WAS ONLY NATURAL FOR AN ACCIDENT LIKE THIS TO HAPPEN. HOW ABOUT WE BOTH JUST FORGET ABOUT IT AND GO OUR SEPARATE WAYS?"
"YES. absolutely!"
If Ireree was willing to let Oto go, who were they to argue with her decision.
". . . But how do I do that?"
". . ."
What do they mean, 'how?' Just think of a destination, yourself being there yourself and you're there. Teleportation is one of the first powers all Cosmics stumble upon when they awaken.
"ENVISION YOURSELF IN WHEREVER IT WAS YOU CAME FROM AND YOU'LL GO THERE."
"Um. Isn't there somewhere else I could go instead?"
"JUST GO BACK TO THE WORLD YOU MANIFESTED FROM!!!"
The response startled Oto. As much as Ireree would've liked to just blast the Cosmic away, there was something odd about them. They seemed genuinely ignorant and lost in the Cosmic Realm (which was odd) but they needed help. Like it or not, this was gonna take a while.
