The display was a bit unsettling for Oto. If she didn't look as surprised as they were, Oto would have sworn that the goblin had been doing this her whole life.
On the other hand, the goblin was in awe of the outcome of her punch. She would've been satisfied to see the statue get knocked back. Instead she'd completely destroyed it with one hit. Realizing the power she wielded in her hands she turned to face the rest of the advancing statues with a newfound vigor.
The statues continued to close in around her. One of them thrust their spear toward her, but she quickly dodged it while also lunging forward to close the distance between them.
Bam!
The punch shattered the statue's leg causing it to drop to the ground.
Bam! Bam!
Two more punches to the chest and the statue broke apart. More statues came after her. A swordsman, a staff-wielder, an axeman. One by one each of them fell to the goblin's strikes. However, she noticed it was slowly taking more and more punches to defeat them. Then she found herself in the path of a swinging club.
Instinctively, the goblin crossed her arms in front of herself to block the attack. But when it struck, her arms buckled under the force and they were shoved back and into her chest. The force continued forward, launching her back. She was able to keep her footing for a few steps at first, but she inevitably fell to the ground.
"Gasp!"
The blow had knocked the wind out of the goblin and now her arms and chest ached. Worse still, another statue was above her and was winding up to strike. She tried to intercept the attack with her arms once more. But it once again offered little resistance against the strike to her chest.
Crack!
"Ugh!"
This time though, the goblin felt her bones crack under the blow. While the pain set in, the statue above her prepared to another attack. She had to dodge it this time, and just managed to.
SMASH!
The goblin looked back to find the spot she'd been moments ago, now decorated with a web of cracks and ruptures surrounding the weapon planted into the ground. The pain continued to course through her body.
WHAM!
Then something slammed into the goblin's side.
