Will took off after the deer with new ferocity.
Hailey, the deer got away. She's got a Boxer's Glove.

Based on the conversation, the pack was gonna lord this over Will for a while. Another reason for him to catch that character.
Huff, huff, huff, huff, huff. . .
Every bit of Will's focus was on the deer as he ran through the forest. But, despite running at full speed on all fours, Will wasn't closing the distance between them. If anything she might have actually been gaining ground.
Looks like she's got some good speed equipment.
How else could she get away from us?
Will glanced back to find Lupe and Grey had caught up and were running just behind him.
That hoodie's a Thief's Cloak.
She's also wearing Spring Sneakers. It won't be easy to tie her down.
Based on those two items, Will couldn't rule out the possibility that the deer was carrying even more speed oriented equipment. In which case Grey was right, they may not be able to capture this character. For now, the three of them could only try to keep up with her.
"AWWROOOOOOOOOOOO!"
A roaring howl erupted from the depths of the forest stopping everyone in their tracks. A silence fell over the group. Will recognized the howl since it was a side effect of one of his items. Unfortunately that didn't make him any less susceptible to its terrifying effects.
Oom. . .
Boom. . .
BOOM!!!
As thunderous footsteps approached, a pair of glowing red eyes emerged from the darkness and rose above everyone's heads.
"Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr."
What emerged from the trees was recognizable as Hailey. Only with a hulking frame, arms as thick as tree trunks and teeth that could ground rocks into dust. All wrapped up in a studded leather jacket.
The deer started to run, but Hailey acted quicker. She grabbed ahold of the deer, lifted her up and began to lean back while Will, Lupe and Grey turned their heads away. The results were good, but watching the process was a bit much for them.
