Chapter 5;

*are you serious?* Cali's loud voice booms threw my iPhone speaker

*yah I know my mums trying to get me to sneak out then tell Rob later* I smile

*thats risky* she laughs

*i know she must trust my awesome ninja skills to sneak away*

*whatever loser I gotta go* she laughs

*ok bye* I hang out the phone and toss it on my bed

I look at my clock and the numbers 2:07 written in big bold red text glowing on the little box, I run down stairs with a big smile on my face. Today's the day I leave and I'll be on my own, "Hey Rob" I smile

"Hi Zoey? Why so happy?" He laughs looking at me strangely like I'm up to something

"Nothing just can I go to Cali's cottage with her for the next week?" I lie

"Sure but ask your mum first!" He laughs

"I already asked her she said yes"

"Ok go pack Zoey" he smiles as he continues making lunch. I run upstairs and pull out my luggage from underneath my bed, I set it on my bed as I open it and put the rest of my stuff in my suitcase like my brush, my hair stuff, my phone charger, deodorant and other things. I zip it back up and push aside as I lay down and look up at my white popcorn ceiling and grab my phone and stuff it back into my pocket, I can't believe this is happening! Maybe my mum does want to get rid of me since she was so eager to get me to fly out to LA so fast... whatever don't think about it Zoey!

I get up and grab my suitcase as I wheel it downstairs "Rob I think I'm gunna go to Cali's now!" I say walking up to him and hug him

"Ok Zoey have a fun time with her and her family, such nice people!" He laughs

"Ok I'll start walking now bye" I yell walking out the door and I start to make my way to Cali's.

I check the time on my phone 2:34 I shove my phone back into my pocket and i continue making my way back down my street almost the her house, I finally get to her house and knock on her door.

"Hello?" Her mum answers the door

"Oh hi is Cali home" I ask politely

"Oh yes she's in her room with Brad, come on in" she opens the wider

"Why do you have your suitcase here?" She questions

"oh yah sorry, I'm just heading out to LA in a few hours I'm joining a tour thing for my singing so I wanna say goodbye and stuff to Cali cause I don't know how long I'll be gone" I rush

"Oh ok congratulations sweetie, let me take this on out if over here" her mum says grabbing my suitcase and laying it against the wall

I smile and thank her before running upstairs to her room, I knock a few times before she answers her door. "Zoe what are you doing here?" She asks

"Um I'm leaving for LA soon and I um don't really know when I'm coming back so I just kinda wanted to hang out with you till 5..." I trail off

"Oh ok " she says leading me into her room, I sit on the edge of her bed when I notice Brad. He's sitting on her computer chair glaring at me, "Brad I'll see you later" she says

He gets up and kisses her before glancing at me once more then leaving the room shutting the door behind him. "So this is it for awhile" she whispers

I sigh "I guess it is" I whisper back

She is my best friend in the whole world and I'm leaving her behind but this is my only chance to live my dream I'll make more friends won't I?

"Well we need hang out and talk about everything in the next few hours" she laughs sitting down next to me which causes me to smile.
